Reservations and check in was okay. They do charge your credit card a fee when you book a room and deduct it from your total bill. At check in you are charged the total amount due. This makes extra work for all involved if you have to change rooms because of an air conditioner not working and the difference in...

This hotel is so very charming! From beginning to end, the staff is amazingly gracious and kind. The entire hotel is a treasure of history. We loved our long weekend here! My pre-teen daughter even adored its charm and comfort! The restaurant's breakfast was delicious (fruit cup was fabulous). We didn't dine there for dinner...Stillwater has an abundant restaurant selection....

We stayed for one night in the historic wing. Pretty, comfortable room. Free WiFi. We wanted a room downtown so we could walk everywhere. This was perfect. Other than the Water Street Inn and B&Bs, this is the only Inn in downtown. The "chain" hotels are all driving distance away. Public parking ramp attached and hotel validates parking, so it...

On the spur of the moment, we decided to go to Stillwater over Memorial Day weekend. So happy that Lowell Inn had availability! We stayed in the original section of the Inn and it was great. Many interesting antiques and very cozy. The room was an adequate size with a great shower.

I had the opportunity to host 10 out of town business guests for a two day meeting. The staff, the rooms and all of the dinning options and activities within walking distance made it a huge success. There are so many excellent restaurants in Stillwater and the Dinning at the Lowell Inn does not disappoint. The rooms were so full...

My wife and I wanted to take a weekend trip and experience Stillwater. We wanted to be close to the historic downtown without paying B&B prices. We tried the Lowell Inn as an alternative. The location is superb. Our room was in the historic wing. It was small, but adequate. If you need a desk, dresser/TV center, closet, two sinks,...

I love this place. The rooms are clean and unique. Service at the front desk is prompt and friendly. Best of all this is walking distance to the main street in Stillwater. We had a king jacuzzi room. The tub was wonderful...just what we needed after a day of shopping. We had breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. Scrambled...

Stayed here for the weekend in one of the old Victorian rooms. It was very reasonably priced and rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff was very nice and welcoming and the maid service was exceptional. The hotel has onsite parking that they validate and you are right smack dab in downtown walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants....

My husband & I were in Stillwater, MN to browse and shop at the Antique stores in town and came across the lovely Lowell Inn. We decided to stop-in for a bite of lunch. We were seated in the George Washington room which recreates the elegance, charm & romance of Colonial Williamsburg. The food was delicious and the pace was...

My husband and I had a lovely breakfast at the Lowell Inn. The Lowell Inn has been there since 1927.The dining room is lovely and features beautiful chandeliers and ornately carved antique grandfather clocks and a picture of George Washington. I had a Denver Omelet with breakfast potatoes, an English muffin and a bit of pretty fruit served upon the...
