We have stayed at this campground twice. The location is excellent as a base to explore the North Shore. Our campsite was number 79. It was lakefront with full hookup. We enjoyed watching the sunrise, seeing the ore boats and just listening to the sounds...More

We did a last minute booking in order to see the fall colors. We arrived late and our name was posted on the office door for out site. Site was flat and clean. The next day was asked to be moved closer to the lake...More

The new sites offer great views of the water and the full hookups are on both sides so that you can back in or drive in a motor home We got all the networks on our batwing - we did not use the new restrooms...More

This campground has a great view of Lake Superior. I liked that it had walking trails into town. Sites were level although very open with no trees in the new part where we were at. Nice new shower house. Hookups on both sides of camper.

I'm not sure if they are open those dates. I would call city hall as it is a city run campground. FYI you may have to make repeated calls to get someone at least that's my experience.
