We have stayed at this campground twice. The location is excellent as a base to explore the North Shore. Our campsite was number 79. It was lakefront with full hookup. We enjoyed watching the sunrise, seeing the ore boats and just listening to the sounds...More

This campground has a great view of Lake Superior. I liked that it had walking trails into town. Sites were level although very open with no trees in the new part where we were at. Nice new shower house. Hookups on both sides of camper.

Yes quite close to the beach if you get a close site. You will be right in two harbors so the location is pretty good. I would stay there again.

I'm not sure if they are open those dates. I would call city hall as it is a city run campground. FYI you may have to make repeated calls to get someone at least that's my experience.
