We recently stayed at the Sakatah for 4 days. Its the only place we found to stay at in Waterville. The owner Pat is a lovely woman and accommodated us as best as she could. There is a lot of construction going on there and because it is off season she could only rent us the room for 4 days...

I recently stayed there during the off season and it was great. Pat was very accommodating to have the room ready for me when I arrived. It was a large room with a full kitchen that included all I needed to cook that night. The lake is beautiful and the sakatah state park bike trail is right next to the...

I chose Sakatah Bay Resort because I wanted to experience being on that lovely lake again after an absence from Waterville for many decades. It didn't disappoint! The owners were friendly and made sure that I was comfortable and had what I needed. I loved watching the ducks and geese on the lake during the day, and the quiet ambience...

The rooms here are quite small, but they do have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot in a kitchenette area separated from the bedroom so that when I wake up early, my wife can sleep in without me disturbing her. So when I woke up, I made some coffee and then stepped out the back door and sat and looked over...

What looked like a swamp in the backyard turned out to be a haven for nature and provided a show right outside the door. The room was small but very clean. It had the basic necessities plus a small refrigerator and microwave. The...

“The motel has a variety of accommodations from a two bedroom apartment with a huge deck and lakeview to a small room suitable for one person. Half of the rooms face the lake and the other half face the road.”
