This wonderfull lodge is hidden away in the sand dunes in a very enjoyable sollitude. Only 5 houses, 2 beds each. The perfect place to chill out and enjoy sand, beach ocean and great sunrises. A high-light but also a warning is that it is a bit difficult to be "connected" all the time. If you need, request in advance...

I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to visit this beautiful, peaceful place. The ocean views from my room and from every part of the lodge were so so stunning and the miles of pristine beach were perfect for long, lovely walks (often with the good company of Liz, and the friendly resident dogs) The food was delicious,...

My very first trip to Mozambique and I was lucky enough to find Blue Foot Prints What a place to spend your time in Mozambique. Five individual rooms attached to the main lodge. Solar powered and fascinating. The excellent and spacious rooms overlook the beach and the Indian Ocean. You wake to the waves, and the Ocean is the last...

Amazing 5 rooms eco-lodge. Personnel were the ones who built the place powered only by solar panels, and they were adorable diving instructors. So remote, facing a coast of yellow ocre sand bathed by a 29 degrees C Indian ocean. The rooms are all facing the sea and you have your own hammock. Dinner is included and they even have...

There is nothing to be faulted about Blue Footprints and a lot to commend. It is in a lovely private location and there only 5 separate secluded rooms so it is never crowded. It overlooks the ocean and a beautiful sandy beach used by very very few people, mainly the occasional fisherman. All the staff are so friendly, very helpful...

The best beach lodge in Mozambique. Amazing personal service, great food and awesome views from every spot in the lodge, including watching the sun rise above the sea from your bed. Thanks for a wonderful stay Liz, Roxy and Mercedes, and the great food prepared by Sam. Can't wait for our return visit in 2016.

Spent 9 nights here as part of our honeymoon and so glad we did - Liz and her team cannot do enough for you and you are made to feel very special and part of the ' family' any requests were dealt with almost immediately and without question. A lesson in customer service ...The place itself is idyllic do not...

What a fantastic stay we had here. We felt very welcome and completely at home from the first moment we arrived. Liz and Lisa and their staff were superb...constantly ensuring our needs were met. The rooms are beautiful with fantastic full ocean views, food was excellent and very comendable considering the scarce availabilty of good products. Miles and miles of...

I recently spent 3 nights at Blu Footprints and it was one of the highlights of my trip to South Africa & Mozambique. The rooms are lovely with spectacular views and enjoying the coffee delivered to our balcony every morning while watching the ocean was a great way to start the day. The food was another highlight. The breakfast was...

This is a very well run b& b. Liz and her staff are professional but still very friendly and will go to extraordinary lengths to accommodate their guests. The flask of boiling water delivered to the chalet for early morning coffee would be an absolute favourite. The chalets are so private you can sit on your deck in the morning...
