My husband's family was hosting Pawpa's 95th birthday gathering. Given the number of attendees to the gathering a family member booked our room at the Belmont Hotel. We did not know what to expect given the pictures do this place no justice. We were a little leery of staying here. Let me tell you, this place just takes you back....

This was a planned stop on our trip on the Natchez Trace. We weren't disappointed. This is a turn of the century hotel that has been restored. It is now a B&B. The guest room all have private baths and TV and internet. High ceiling and period furnishings made this a nice quaint stop on our trip. Clean -- Ron...

great place for a night's stay while cycling the Trace. A very neat old hotel that could be a showplace with some upgrades. But, the owner/manager is friendly and there to answer any questions or assist. A very nice continental breakfast is served.

The Belmont Hotel is situated at the end of Main St in Belmont, MS. It is an old and quaint establishment from yesteryear with all hardwood floors and a huge dining room and lobby for guests to enjoy. I don't think I have the words to say how this extraordinary venue out of the past reminds me of 19th century...

This is not the Holiday Inn. It is a quaint, historic hotel built in the 1920s. The room are clean and comfortable. Located in Belmont, Mississippi, the hotel is only a few miles from Highway 72 and the Natchez Trace Parkway. The innkeepers are hospitable. Not a bad overnight stay.

My husband and I stayed here one night on a bicycle trip. The hotel is clean, charming and has basic amenities. There are ample choices for breakfast. The best part was Ron, the "Innkeeper." Friendly and helpful, we couldn't have asked for a nicer host! He provided detailed information about the town and upon leaving, directions and a map back...

Stay here for historic and nostalgia reasons only. This was once the place to stay in a rural railroad town. Built in 1924, it retains the 14 ft. ceilings, hardwood floors and some older furniture - but this is not a place to see antiques. The drain plug in the tub will hurt your feet.

We stayed here while cycling the Natchez Trace and found the host very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were allowed to keep our tandem bike safe and sound in the lobby. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is old and full of history but has the modern conveniences that made our stay pleasant. The Mexican restaurant across the...

My mother and I stayed at The Belmont just for a night as we were passing through along The Trace. Nice accommodations and the owner was very hospitable. A very nostalgic place to stay! There aren't too many places to eat dinner in Belmont but the Mexican place across the street, Costa Oaxaquena, was good.
