My family and I stayed here in December until New Year's Day. This is an amazing place. So good, I encourage any visitors to New Zealand to consider a visit to BOMC when building an itinerary if you have time (it is a bit remote and a good stay really requires 3+ nights). It is a 5 star resort and...

Whenever we mentioned where we were going to be staying in the Marlborough Sounds to New Zealander's we met on our travels they were impressed so we were very much looking forward to three days of rest and relaxation in the middle of our trip. We arrived on the water taxi from Picton and were met at the jetty by...

This boutique hotel is built into the hillside in one of the bays in Marlborough Sound, or more specifically, Queen Charlotte Sound. We arrived via a boat from Picton (about 25 min). En route, you see the grand scale of the Sound with the lush green hills and mountains and the many bays. As you approach the hotel, you can...

We did stay for 2 nights after Christmas, the views are amazing and very tranquil but this does not relate to value for money. Breakfast & dinner on our rate we're extra. Staff very friendly and mainly consisted of many young people, many appear to of only been there for a few weeks Unfortunately there were many inconsistencies in service...

We stayed at the Bay of Many Coves for two nights recently on a trip to New Zealand - we could easily have stayed longer, it's so lovely. I had a mental image of the place (perhaps because it's called a resort) of it being much larger and busier but in fact it's very small and you feel like part...

The Bay of Many Coves is a wonderfully unique property. Located in Queen Charlotte Sound, it is accessible by boat only. This provides a wonderful feeling of remoteness, yet it offers a level of service and comfort making it a luxury hotel. The staff greeted us at the dock, by name. The property is on a hill and in several...

We stayed at the Bay of Many Coves during our tour of New Zealand. The hotel is only accessible by water taxi from Picton and is in a beautiful remote location. Reception, lounge and restaurant are just next to the jetty and the rooms are built up the hillside. Our room was spacious with a sitting room which included a...

This is truly a 5* hotel and should not be missed if you ever have the opportunity to stay there. The hotel is spotless, the food a delight, the scenery fantastic and the staff absolutely superb. During our stay we had a problem with the next leg of our holiday and the staff bent over backwards to help solve the...

My husband and I stayed here during the middle of our self driven trip thorough New Zealand. This was the end of our South Island leg. We ferried over from Picton. We were met at the ferry by the staff to take our luggage and orientate us on the grounds as well as escort us to our rooms. The bungalow...

We had a two night stay here which we deliberately booked for a well deserved break half way through our tour of NZ. The journey to BOMC via the water taxi itself was a treat, with sightings of penguins, birds of prey and seals. We were greeted at the jetty by Natalie, Elaine and Murray - all were welcoming and...

Thanks Richard, we're pleased you made it to the Lookout and got to experience the fantastic views from up there. We live in a remarkable paradise and take a lot of pride in our role as custodians of the environment - we love being able to share it with our guests! Our restaurant wins many awards for it's outstanding beef...
