We loved the overall funky feel of the place and we're looking forward to a rocking week end, but we're disappointed to find most of attention was being paid to the music workshop so the bar closed at 8 and when it was open the only music was the band Practising. Even worse when we arrived for breakfast we wer...

Shack Up Inn is a unique experience. The claw foot tub in the Dogtrot shack allowed me to soak in a steaming hot tub of water after two weeks on the road using shower stalls. The kitchen was functional, with a four-burner electric stove with oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a coffee pot. There were enough pots, pans, and...

Stayed un one of the "bin" rooms above the lobby. Room waa comfortable and with a balcony overlooking the main courtyard. Deco is absolutely amazing and the feeling of being in a shack makes it all more authentic. Will reccomend to anyone wanted to feel the Blues...

Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Just a getaway weekend trip celebrate my baby's birthday. Service was excellent. The room was more than I expected. Stayed in the Grain Elevator D, two story, two bedroom, 1&1/2 bath. (Would be better with 2 full baths). The decor was awesome. All repurposed material. The front room was perfect place to relax and play the...

Excellent yet rustic share cropper shacks w/air conditioning. Music and refreshments on site! Very friendly and laid back. Easy access to Clarksdale, MS area and the Blues Trail with all it's music and food possibilities! Cheap rates too! Have stayed 3 times and will stay there again the next time we pass through!

I was not sure what to expect when I arrived at the Shack Up Inn. It is about 2 miles east of Clarksdale and is a real experience. I knew it was a collection of tin-sided shacks out in the country, and I choose the Sky Suite thinking that it might be a little bit better than one of the...

It was a very unique place to stay. Everything in the shacks are old. It was also not the cleanest or maybe because it was all such old stuff. We did however love walking from shack to shack to visit . Bedding was just ok...

It was all we hoped for and then some. Spacious, comfortable bed and rooms. Friendly staff and owners. Close to town but in the country. If you want to experience the Delta of Mississippi this is your stop. The town of Clarksdale is also very interesting. It's a must to go to Ground Zero Blues Club.

This is not a night at the Ritz! The Shack Up Inn offers you the chance to stay in sharecropper cabins. I felt like the walls were talking to me. Loved the front porch and rocking chairs. Music by Graham was great! Just loved the whole experience and we will be back!

These were small share cropper shacks that have been turned into renal cabins. Its like going back in time, except with all the necessities you need. We had a great time and will definitely be going back.
