Chose this hotel based on T.A. Reviews and was very pleased with our accommodations. I had booked a garden view room but on arriving was told we had a room overlooking the parking lot. Fortunately the manager was able to switch us back to our original room which was a large, comfortable room with a separate sitting area, enough drawer...

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff is very friendly and the room we stayed in was beautiful and very spacious. The breakfast was delicious. I look forward to staying here again in the future and I would definitely recommend The Old Capital Inn to anyone.

Although the OCI is known for decorating each room after a Holllywood star (i.e. Elvis) I did not get to stay in one of them. Instead, I got a room--what they tagged--as a honeymoon suite. It was a 2 floor room but you had to go down 1 1/2 flight of stairs to the bedroom/bathroom and that is not easy...

Great historic Hotel. Small but very nice room, beautifully furnished. Great rooftop bar with live music. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Cooked fresh. I wished we had been able to stay longer to see more of Jackson but definitely would stay here again.

This was an excellent decision for my birthday lunch!! We had a precious young server who truly took pride in her job. She was very pleasant and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious! We had some of the best crab cakes we've ever eaten! And we've been at some of the best restaurants around the country. The atmosphere was quaint,...

We stayed at the Old Capitol Inn for a night en route from Memphis to New Orleans. We were pleasantly surprised by how lovey it was, and our room was huge with a nice separate lounge area which we really enjoyed. The staff kindly printed a walking tour of Jackson when we asked for it, and the breakfast was all...

Arrived on a road trip making for Memphis. The Hotel has handy private parking , secure at night and a pretty patio area with pond to enjoy the sun. The decor is beautiful, old world Art Deco lead glass, chandeliers and is well furnished. Burke on reception was helpful and checked us in well. Our room was tastefully decorated with...

This place is gorgeous! Pricey! Only stay here if you are treating yourself. Breakfast is amazing! Beautiful decor! Very helpful staff! When you park you have to go inside the gate which requires a security guard to let you in. Otherwise there is parking on the street. There is a small drive through to drop off your things in front...

A nice boutique hotel in downtown Jackson. I was pleasantly surprised with the room although I would have preferred not to have been on street level without bars on the windows. The included breakfast was very good, especially the grits which so many restuarants can botch. The parking lot is gated,

I took my mom for a weekend getaway. We were a little skeptical driving in but could not have been happier with our stay. This hotel has so much character. An old YWCA with very unique rooms. Grounds are beautiful and breakfast was wonderful. Looking forward to another visit soon.
