This inn is a very old fashioned inn, with the most amazingly soft bed, in the room. This is a most welcome feature after driving for six hours. The staff are all happy and smiling people, which creates a nice ambiance. Their Merlot was really nice. I ordered the 'Posh Fish Pie', and I have to say it was the...

We stayed for just one night. The room was lovely. Would have appreciated stronger bedside lighting, but just a small thing. Great meal and breakfast. When our car wouldn't start the next morning and we were waiting around for the recovery people, the staff were so kind and helpful. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice large and clean room. Evening meal was very good and breakfast excellent. Not a big deal but it would have been nice to have a bath sheet rather than bath towel. Thank you for a very good stay, we will be more than happy to return when we are in the area.

I booked a night at The Badger to celebrate my wife's birthday. As it was a special one I chose to stay in the Badger suite, which has a very comfortable lounge area and bedroom. The highlight of the bedroom being the double jaccuzi at the foot of the very comfortable double bed.At each side of the bed were entrances to a...

In November 2016, my friend treated me to lunch at this quaint place. With us, was her daughter and grand-daughter. The staff were very pleasant / polite and created a warm friendly atmosphere. The food was freshly cooked and portion sizes were generous. One or two regular mature people ordered child sized dinners and it was ample for them and...

“Room called : The Spinner - reasonable quality but could be improved by adding a razor point, a shelf in the bathroom for personal items and lastly we found the drawers rather small for laying out folded clothes. Good shower.”
