The staff is pleasant and helpful, but the rest of our experience was sub-par. The rooms offer absolutely no insulation from noise. We could hear hallway and next door conversation very clearly late into the night and early in the morning. The wedding reception going on above us was so loud we could identify the songs and it sounded like...

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Clayton. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and amazingly quick! The restaurant has great food and the breakfast buffet is wonderful. The parking garage attached to, but not run by, the hotel is under construction so parking is a bit of a mess. There were no handicapped parking available in the garage but the hotel allowed...

Whatever you do, do NOT stay in room 223. Its above, that's right, it's above the kitchen. I was up until 11:30 due to all the noise and then up at 6:30!!!! It sounded like chairs and furniture moving, it was LOUD!!!!! I would have changed rooms but I was too tired to pack up all of my stuff. I...

Checking in was a breeze at this hotel. All of the staff was extremely friendly. We were there for a 70's party on Delmar so the staff enjoyed our costumes as we left for the event. The driver of the shuttle van drove us to the venue and was very friendly. We liked this location because it is close to...

One of the best hotel beds in the country! A terrific hotel in Clayton, MO; here for 3 day business junket. Service is top-notch. Breakfast cooked to order, included in the room charge. An older hotel, it has been well-maintained and is nicely appointed. Room is spacious. At breakfast, the owner, Pete, stopped by the table to introduce himself and...

Centrally located in midtown Clayton. Very nice buffet breakfast including with omelet bar. Staff is very nice and hotel is well kept. We appreciate the fact that parking does not cost on weekends. This is our "go to" hotel.

The standout feature of this hotel is its stellar service staff. They seem to enjoy their jobs, and are the right kind of "attentive." They do not smother guests, but seem right there when you need them. Breakfast was top drawer. The owner of the hotel, 89 years old, made the rounds, and greeted each guest. Charming gentleman. Other highlights:...

My wife and I arrived to find the parking deck under repair. We'd have to go to the opposite side of the block to enter/park. The valet stopped us and pointed us to the check-in parking, off to the side. Good catch on his part and our stay was off to a good start. From that valet, all the way...

Upon check-in, I was told that I got an upgrade to the executive suite. What a great way to start my stay! The room came with two comfy queen sized beds, hardwood floors (something I rarely find in most hotels I stay at), mini fridge & microwave, and safe. Bathroom was a little dated, but it was also very cool...

Admittedly, I thought the rooms were a bit dated, but the complementary breakfast, great service and hot showers made up for it. Additionally, be wary of the parking lot in progress. It can be dangerous to drive though since there is construction going on. If the parking had not of been free, I would have probably docked a star. Additionally,...
