We have stayed here twice. Rooms are small and lacking on power, but it's what you'd expect for a stay like this. They were clean and recently renovated. As a photographer, I enjoy their neon sign. I would stay here again. Cuba is a nice town.

We usually stay at familiar hotel chains but came across this place online. We don’t tend to stray from the “usual” but decided to try this place based on the reviews. This is an old gas station (pumps still there), with a main cottage and some antique vehicles, The rooms are spread out on the property, which is well lit....

We stopped at the Wagon Wheel on our way to Chicago. It was off season so the place was mostly empty. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was small but plenty of room for the 2 of us. We really enjoyed some sightseeing in the town of Cuba...

A wonderful stay at this authentic motel brought us back to the American on the road dream while travelling through the United State's Route 66 for our honey moon. The room was extremely clean, the outside courtyard gave us a paceful momoent of rest and the staff was very very kind. Stop by if you have the chance, it's worth...

One of the many overnight stops on my Route 66 trip. The Wagon Wheel Motel is a wonderful old motel with some classic architecture and lovely little house rooms. Each little chalet has all the necessary facilities for a lovely nights rest.

Cute, historic motel from the glory days of Route 66. The current owner has done an wonderful job of restoring the place and giving visitors a taste of what it would have been like to stay there in the past. The rooms are quite small and the walls are thin (we sure did hear our neighbours getting their kicks on...

We were on our motorcycles and the motel had covered parking for them as well as rags to clean our bikes. The staff was very friendly. The motel has an interesting Route 66 gift shop. There were restaurants within walking distance.

I wanted to get away from St Louis for a bit; and stayed in the Wagon Wheel motel for one (Friday) night. I chose room 23 mainly because of the 'special' shower installed. From what I gather from other reviews; this room is one of the larger rooms in the motel. This historic motel is about 70 years old, but...

Charming old fashion motel which has been renovated and is very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it very much. The bed was a double but we are use to that and the room was small but we were not in the room very much. The heating and cooling system was new and efficient.
