I stayed in a solo room here and had some friends stay in a bigger room. This motel was modern and great value for money, it is a little off the beaten track from the main highway, however it is a Route 66 classic. There is a great little store attached to the hotel check in area to purchase some...

Stayed here while travelling Route 66. They have kept the 1940's feel about the rooms they are very clean but a little on the small side. My advice is stay in a suite as the standard rooms have no en-suite. The staff are really lovely and would chat to you all day if you give them the chance. For what...

We are a true historic motel and the rooms are the size for the period in which it was built. Glad you were pleased with it's authenticity. Thanks for taking the time to write a review.

What a wonderful motel, my room whilst cosy was beautifully designed and very, very clean. I was travelling alone but very much enjoyed sitting outside reading my book and having a glass of wine. The owners were clearly proud of their property and rightly so. My one very small issue was that the walls are thin and as a light...

This is a unique place to stay if you're driving Route 66 (which is the only reason I rated it 4 instead of 3), but there are things that can be done to make it more comfortable for guests, while preserving its historic character. When we arrived the air conditioner was off or on low, which contributed to the strong...

We are very sorry for any problems you experienced. We will make sure to have housekeeping keep the refrigerator turned up. There were more towels under the sink in the bathroom and as stated in the room, there are hair dryers available in the office. We hope you enjoyed your stay and we appreciate your business.

Would definitely return to this motel the location is extremely close to restaurants and activities. Love the updated rooms and the owner was very pleasant when we arrived. Also enjoyed the fire-pit and meeting people from all around the country on this historic Route 66 gem.

Rooms are small but adequate, No coffee maker, but you can get coffee in the reception area. Very clean rooms, bed was creaky so didn't hold out much hope that it would be comfy, but we had a wonderful nights sleep! Nice little shop area in reception. We ate at the BBQ place next door, food was good.

We stayed here one night while on Route 66. Was welcomed by Jeff, the owners son who allocated room 12 to us. It's a lovely little room in a block of four just behind the main office block and set some distance from the rail track, so not as noisy at night as some when the odd train passes. Room...

Stayed here while in the area. Very clean, cozy, and well maintained. Nice staff. Bit of history along Route 66. Shop at check-in had lots of literature on Route 66. Will definitely stay again if we return to the area.

While touring the Mother road, we really enjoyed staying at the Wagon Wheel Motel. Rooms were comfortable with great beds. Very clean motel. Really enjoyed having the outdoor sitting area to visit with friends we were traveling with. The gift shop had some great stuff and the restaurant next door had great barbecue. It was really nice to be able...
