We have stayed here more than a dozen times and will be back again. Lots to do and see in the area along with plenty of shops and restaurants. Just relax by the river or take a float (the float company will pick you up...More
Very nice rooms looking out on the Jacks Fork River, for only half-price in the off-season. This place would have rated a 5, if not for the internet being down, and the family that runs the place being gone due to an apparent emergency. Despite...More
Ridiculously overpriced. We paid $600 for two nights, and it is at best should have been $250. We go to Eminence every year and will never stay there again. We were supposed to have a kitchenette, but there was a microwave and no other utensils...More
This is a cute resort. The unique art sets the place apart. The owners and staff were friendly but unintrusive. The room was a bit tight and pretty bland for the price. I enjoyed the river view/access. We loved jumping from the bridge. And they're...More
This was our second time to stay at The River's Edge Resort. We enjoyed it, in spite of a problem with the mattress. They quickly resolved the issue. It's very convenient if you are there to float on the river. Already want to go back!...More
Amanda ... Can you elaborate on it felt when you found that YOUR cabin was accused of stealing 13 towels? Lynette Peters, the owner, has stated that YOUR cabin had NO towels, after I pleaded my case for you all and told her that I personally put all of the towels into the tubs upon my walk thru. But first, when I spoke to her, she told me that they DID NOT count the towels before removing them from the cabins. They did a count AFTER the laundry was done. SO the towels could have been missing from any one of their other units. But because WE had such a large group... I guess she thought she could USE us for her GAINS!!!! Then to be charged $175.00 for 13 towels? Seriously? I checked out several 'HOTEL SUPPLY' websites and I found that for a dozen towels... the average was about $83.00. AND Lynette was charging us $175.00? Sounds like financial GREED to me!

This is so far from the truth!!!! Each Cabin DID NOT have 12 towels. Its so sad that RiversEdge will stoop so low as to lie and accuse customers of something that they didn't do just so you all can replenish your towel supply. I am the one who put the towels in the tubs, in both cabins and there were several of us that did the final walk thru. This current story is now changing from the conversation that I had with Lynett on this past Saturday.
Riverside would NEVER treat their customers like this!
