We stay here all the time. This is our 3rd season coming to Great Escape. We love this campground. The pool is awesome, lots to do for the kids. They take pride in there campground and shower house. The owners are very nice and helpful. Always a great time when we stay here.

My husband and I stayed here for a week June 6th-11th 2016. Park was beautiful with very well kept landscape. There are 2 fishing ponds that we loved. The hosts were super nice and very helpful with anything we needed. I was surprised at how clean and maintained the bathrooms and showers were since the park was full almost every...

I stayed in the "long term" section of this park for a month during May and early June 2016. I would term it a low end Mom & Pop with the owners not that focused on maintenance and upkeep. The upper section is ok for a basic overnite or 2, but if you need a site for a longer time...

I am so sorry that one of our guests was not satisfied with the level of service we provided them. We strive to make sure all our guests have the best camping experience. If an issue arises we immediately respond to rectify the situation. With that said, we mow and weed whack daily, throughout our 30 acre park, except during...

Very nice and friendly staff. Called and checked in while traveling late on a Sunday with no issues. Mostly quiet even though it was close to the interstate. Well worth the stop. It was not expensive and the layout is nice.

With it's nice owners and friendly staff, you feel welcome from the time you get to the front desk. There are many big rig friendly pull-thru sites that can accommodate even the biggest rigs, ours is 90' long. We love the saltwater pool and two stocked license free fishing ponds. The bathhouse and laundry are always spotless and in working...

Our GPS had it all wrong for locating The Great Escape RV & Camp Resort. Luckily they have a sign on the Eastbound side of I-70 that caught our eye and led us to it without getting lost. The park is about 50 miles East of Kansas City just off I-70 at Exit #49. It is a wide open park...

This camp offers Good shade, close to highway, good internet and very good prices. I would give 4 stars but the grass is a bit long. Over all a very peaceful camp with no riff raff. The bathhouse is very nice and clean, there is a town about 20 miles south with lots of restaurants.

Friendly staff. Sites could be cleaned up a little bit. Not many picnic benches. Lovely view of tress, grass, ponds shaded by trees. Basic facilities. Low prices. Easy off the highway. Lots of novels & magazines to read. Water & electricity in site. It is good to camp on grass again & with stocked fireplace pits.
