My husband and I just returned from an incredible week at the Hacienda de la Costa. This was our first trip to Sayulita and we were not sure where to stay or what to expect, but feel so lucky to have decided on this property! It is located on a bluff overlooking the most secluded, gorgeous beach and the surrounding...

Hacienda de la Costa is a terrific place for a couple's getaway. Terri and Steve are fabulous hosts, the rooms and grounds are clean and well-maintained, and the location is quiet and beautiful. Even the distance from Sayulita turned out to be advantageous for our stay during the Holidays. In the mornings we'd surf and sun at the small, uncrowded...

My husband and I stayed at the Hacienda de la Costa (in the Casita room) last week and absolutely fell in love with it. Sadly, we only stayed 3 nights; next time, we will definitely book a longer stay. Here are some of the things we loved about the Casita: - It is in it's own separate building that's maybe...

We spent 10 days here and had a great experience. It's off the beaten path enough to be a real adventure but not so far as to be scary or inconvenient. The rooms and grounds were beautifully designed and built by our hosts Terri and Steve. It would have been just fine to hang around the grounds all day, reading...

I wasn't sure what to expect. Knew the hacienda was two miles from Sayulita along a rough dirt road and was a little concerned. Absolutely unfounded concern! Steve and Terri, the owners, have put so much work and much heart into creating a relaxing, welcoming, beautiful retreat. Terri serves a delicious, healthy breakfast every morning and there is well-equipped, well...

Words can't explain the the beauty of this property and service that we were given by Terri and Steve. The rooms were spacious, beautiful and spotless. The pool and gardens provided a perfect and relaxing day without ever leaving the grounds. Steve and Terri are amazing hosts and wonderful people to be around, to say the very least they went...

On our first trip to Sayulita my husband and were fortunate to spend 3 halcyon days at Hacienda de la Costa, tucked behind lovely gardens and palms 2 miles from town down a jungle road. It is difficult to find anything original to say after all of the spectacular reviews but we can happily reinforce what we have read. Steve...

This was the perfect retreat for my husband and I making a return trip to Sayulita after five years. Not only was the scenery breathtaking, but the rooms/service were exquisite. Terri, Steve, and their rescue pets were excellent hosts. We loved Terri's cooking and advice, Steve's stories and margaritas, and the animals' companionship, especially Tripod's antics. The location's perfect to...

What an amazing place - so peaceful and relaxing with a very happy energy in the forest. Steve and Terri are fabulous and very welcoming hosts. Terri went above and beyond helping us plan our trip to Hacienda de la Costa and our onward journey. We highly recommend a stay here as you will be well looked after!

Hacienda de la Costa was the best lodging decision we could have taken for our stay in Sayulita. It is close to town but offers the tranquility of a gated community, with gorgeous gardens and lovely pool area. The rooms are spacious, bright and offer intimacy. Views are stunning and you can walk to a quiet beach with a nice...
