I stayed at troncones point hostel for a week. Tom and Lizet are very kind, throw great parties and are very welcoming. They invited me out several times with their friends, and took me salsa dancing. You can't beat the price. The hostel is very clean and eco friendly. Only a short distance from the village where you can find... More

What makes this hostel unbelievably special isn't the amazing oceanfront view, the stunning sunsets, the cleanliness or the service, the fair prices, the belly-rub-seeking beach companions known as Mateo and Maya, the volunteers, or even the manager Tom (and his super cool girlfriend Lizzett). No, all that isn't what makes it the coolest place you've ever stayed - it's that... More

I spent a week here. Tom and his staff work really hard to keep the place clean and to ensure that you have what you need to enjoy your vacation. If you like to surf, the hostel is located on a great point break. There are also other great surf breaks very near by. Great people, great little town and... More

Spent a week here enjoying the lovely surround and epic sunsets at this of this very unhostel like hostel. Best value bed I found in Mexico. Good people, good times and good waves. Unfortunately the surf at Troncones point wasn't working while I was there but I can see it would be great when it did. However many awesome longboard... More

Oh how we loved this place - the location was just perfect for us. Listening to the sound of the powerful waves crashing on the shore as we lay in bed was bliss. It feels wild. The hostel is a lovely design and built sympathetically to the environment. Our son is 6, he loved the informality, searching for shells on... More

Stayed for about a week last year and couldn't have been more impressed with the place. The host Tom was a legend, taking the time to show me around some of the other local surf breaks and even going as far as to loan me his car to get into town. You can check the main wave from the hostel... More

The staff and other visitors were open and generous with our family. The location was quiet and relaxing and perfect for what we wanted... More

I had a wonderful stay at the hostel in late April. The property is beautiful comprised of lush gardens and gorgeous architecture with a penchant for outdoor living. The friendly staff keep the grounds immaculately clean. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment. The living space catches cooling breezes and has a beautiful view of the surf and stunning sunsets.... More

The host is a charming guy but... our room we had booked was given to someone else. So we were put in a room where we were overcharged $50 for two nights and he charged us 5% to pay with Paypal. Also dogs are constantly barking on the property. Tons of flea bites. Nice rooms otherwise. Better deals even closer... More
