The Troncones Point Hostel is an absolute gem on the coast of the Pacific, which just so happens to have by far the most affordable rates on that coastline. Tom was a great host, taking the time to show me around, and was helpful with my travel plans. The hostel's 2nd floor canopy common area is a great spot to...

This beautiful place and piece of the beach brings a certain kind of people to this place..... Peaceful! Our host Tom was kind and generous from the moment we arrived. We were welcomed by his dogs as the cab arrived and Tom took us straight to the kitchen to visit over a beer. He then gave us quick tour of...

It's becoming an annual trip. This time I stayed three weeks in the luxury tent. Simply amazing! The hostel attracts wonderful people of diverse backgrounds. Tom and Lizette are great. Housekeeping and grounds staff are excellent. Everything you need is easy to get. I love getting food from the fruit truck that pulls up to the door. I look forward...

I just got back from my second stay at this place. The first time was 2 years ago and happened by a stroke of good luck. The other place I was planning to stay was booked so I asked them for suggestions of other places nearby. This was one of the places recommended. Money was tight so the low cost...

Stayed here in July and returned in December together with child, dog and bikes. So pleased we did. Greeted by dogs and two smiling hosts offering beer and welcome back greetings. Troncones was ever more lovely to us as we had our bikes to cycle around. Troncones was calm and beautiful, and the Hostel as we'd remembered it: welcoming, clean,...

We had a truly exceptional vacation experience at Trocones Point Hostel - Thomas and Lizet are the sweetest and most helpful hosts. The property is spectacular, the views stunning and the family casita was comfortable and perfect for a family of 5. Having back-packed and hosteled all over the world, I can truly say this was the most beautiful and...

They invited me out several times with their friends, and took me salsa dancing. You can't beat the price. The hostel is very clean and eco friendly. Only a short distance from the village where you can find...

What makes this hostel unbelievably special isn't the amazing oceanfront view, the stunning sunsets, the cleanliness or the service, the fair prices, the belly-rub-seeking beach companions known as Mateo and Maya, the volunteers, or even the manager Tom (and his super cool girlfriend Lizzett). No, all that isn't what makes it the coolest place you've ever stayed - it's that...

I spent a week here. Tom and his staff work really hard to keep the place clean and to ensure that you have what you need to enjoy your vacation. If you like to surf, the hostel is located on a great point break. There are also other great surf breaks very near by. Great people, great little town and...

Spent a week here enjoying the lovely surround and epic sunsets at this of this very unhostel like hostel. Best value bed I found in Mexico. Good people, good times and good waves. Unfortunately the surf at Troncones point wasn't working while I was there but I can see it would be great when it did. However many awesome longboard...
