My mother and I spent a night at Tara's and couldn't recommend it more. As a person who has a disability I was very impressed with the modification to the bathroom and doorways for wheelchair access. Also impressed with the low environmental impact. The breakfast was delicious and very generous. Lovely setting and reasonable priced. Would highly recommend staying here....

I wish we had known how great this place is beforehand so we could've stayed longer. The cottage is clean, modern, spacious and has everything you need. Tara's breakfast basket was delicious complete with home made bread. Free wifi too!

What a fantastic couple of days my wife and I just had staying at Taras' wonderful Kookaburra cottage for our birthdays. If you are after peace and quiet but still being within 30 minutes drive of all the key attractions of Hobart then this is the place for you. Our cottage was fantastic and Taras' breakfasts are to die for....

We had a lovely break at Tara's farmstay. Tara is a friendly and welcoming host. The tour of the animals and the property in the morning was great, especially for citydwellers like us! The rooms are well fitted out, comfortable and clean. It was nice to have our own kitchen to cook up some goodies. The breakfast, including fresh eggs...

The 3 of us stayed at one of the 2 cottages that Tara has on her farm. It was nice to check in, she had everything we needed in the house, it was very clean and comfortable for our 2 day stay. She was lovely to deal with, and you get to walk through the orchard and pick ripe fruits...

Thanks for taking time to write a review. My apologies for the gas, although I am glad you mentioned it to me eventually so I could swap the cylinders quickly. I now know to keep checking this!

Stayed here last week with my husband and three children. Tara was so welcoming, my children loved playing with Tara's own children as well as checking out the farm animals. Accommodation was modern, comfortable and clean (which always makes me happy!) The breakfast basket each morning with its fresh baked bread and homemade jams among other things - it was...

A short drive from Richmond, Tara welcomed us and gave us clear helpful guidance of what was available both onsite and nearby. Cabins are quite roomy! Bedrooms were fantastic - one with queen and single, other with 2 singles. Well appointed kitchen (no oven) and lounge area. Breakfast provisions included freshly backed bread and fresh berries off the farm -...

My husband and I stayed over at Taras for 2 nights. As we drove into the farm we were greeted by the friendly golden retriever, Blackie. Then of course we met the owner Tara who was bursting with exuberance and enthusiasm at meeting new guests. The farm is very efficiently run and the rooms are immaculately clean and spacious. Breakfast...

We only stayed one night in a brand new cabin with 2 bedrooms, living, dining and kitchen space and good bathroom with washing machine in a very pleasant farm setting in a pretty valley about 20 mins away from Hobart airport. Everything was provided and a good continental breakfast basket was delivered at the time requested. It contained fresh bread,...

We stayed in the new rooms, the facilities were great! Breakfast, with still warm bread, delivered in the morning was lovely. The animals were great, especially Nelson the alpaca. Animal feeding the morning was fun for the little one.
