Interesting place to stay with various types of rooms. Located in a working farm with stone fruits and some animals. Room and general areas could be cleaned better; windows covered in spider webs, area outside our had lots of bird droppings and outside furniture was covered in thick dust....maybe that's the 'country' style.

Delightful family run working fruit farm and hotel / restaurant where we took the Grandkids for overnight stay and exploring nearby attractions. the family room was equipped with essential catering facilities including microwave, fridge and tea making facilities, although the toaster was a bit old and tired! the food at the restaurant was home cooked and delicious.

Stayed for one night in the Tower Room. A very interesting place, lots of colour and interesting things to look at. 52 steps up to the room, keep that in mind if booking the Tower Room. It was fine for us with average fitness level, but wouldn't be ideal for those who struggle with stairs - though they do state...

The room was set up properly for a person with a disability. Great to have a huge bathroom and proper toilet etc. Bed was comfortable. Furniture was modern antique - lovely stuff. Good supply of kitchen stuff to cater if you wanted to. Breakfast was basic but tasty.

We have been travelling through Tasmania for 13 days and usually spent just one night at each place. So we got pretty good sense of what you should get for the price you pay. Hatcher Richmond Manor was the most expensive and certainly didn't deliver. The place was very outdated, bathroom tiles and grout mouldy. Towels were old and not...

Building needs tlc tiles coming off in bath room ect, bed slopes to center with 2 people in it. Restaurant is very pricey for what you get. Kitchen in room has cook top but no pans. When booking out we were charged 21.66% credit card surcharge and when we said we would pay cash we were told it was already...

Guests booked 3 nights , they were given 40% discount off the room , they complained because they got charged 2.1% credit card fee by the bank , total bill was $444-00 for 3 nights , their calculations are wrong , $8-44 is 1.9% that the bank charged for the credit card fee , it stated clearly on the desk...

When you approach the property the appearance is very appealing. Check in was in an area that looks very antique and we had to wait until somebody arrived. When we were shown to our room the first impression was that it was very dated. Further inspection showed that cleanliness could be improved. The beds were reasonably comfortable with sheets and...

Close to Richmond but still very rural. Friendly hosts. Nice restaurant. The farm gross apricot so it is possible to buy jam. Some dishes on the menu has apricot in. Possibility to ride. Close to several wine yards and Old Hobart Town.

We were looking for something different and fun not too far from home and found it at Hatcher's. We travel everywhere with our 3 dogs in tow and in all of our travels across the country, the most pet friendly accommodation we have found was right here. The work that the owners have put into the place is astounding and...
