Bells at Killcare Boutique Hotel, Restaurant and Spa is a boutique coastal retreat with a vibrant regional restaurant, focusing on Mediterranean and Italian food. The property is situated high on the NSW Bouddi Peninsula and surrounded by untouched Bouddi National Park and many secluded and pristine beaches, Bells at Killcare is just a 90-minute drive north of Sydney's CBD and offers exclusive and private coastal style cottage accommodation - 25 cottages and suites, and 4 luxurious lodges, sprawling over a huge rural acreage. Guests can relax by the outdoor 20 metre lap pool or enjoy a signature spa treatment in the delightful Bells Day Spa. Arrive by seaplane, ferry or car.
It was great but not excellent. The hotel is great and the rooms beautiful. The service from the hotel staff is also excellent but the Wildflower restaurant was so uninspiring. Old school food that anyone can do at home but with a hefty price tag. I also found the food bland. We were told they have hired a celebrity chef (Sean something) that we had never heard of (and we are big into culinary) he of course wasn't there that night but his food was terrible. No point having a "celebrity" chef if your menu is going to be like that. Everyone's nan could do a better job.

They were fully booked, so we slummed it in an Airbnb, however, we had lunch and dinner here, both were wonderful. Dinner in The Wild Flower restaurant was superb and a big shout out to Michael, Larissa and Katherine (I hope I have the name correct, from Estonia!) The food, service, ambience = all first class. Hopefully we can stay next time!

We recently enjoyed our wedding at Bells at Killcare. It was the most magical day. The Events Operations team (Annette, Sera, Katrin) went OVER and ABOVE to support us. I am so grateful for their help and guidance through this period. Our guests commented on the food, wine and how beautiful the venue looked. I would recommend Bells at Killcare to anyone considering it for their wedding. I wish we could do it all again!!

This restaurant has so much potential but the menu continues to be uninspiring - this is my 2nd visit. My experience tonight of the food has been disappointing- under cooked pastas and overcooked and dry entree. Please ‘up’ your game this could be such a brilliant location. I hope if I am to come here for a 3rd time in the coming years I could write something entirely different. And seriously - you have too many semillons on your wine list 6 is ample 30 odd is ridiculous.

We have been coming to this property for over 20 years, and all our stays have been great; however, this last stay that was different and was very special; we loved the new management and the new team; their energy and 'happy to be working here' was fantastic. The food is always up with the best, for a change we had the pasta …wow!

I have wanted to stay at Bells for a really long time and finally my husband and I had our stay at the end of July and it was everything I had hoped for. Super chilled, great food, amazing service, the best day spa massage I have had (the Boudi Special) and the room was fantastic. Honestly, nothing that we could fault. The restaurant service is the best, so attentive. Special call out to Alyssa who we loved. I can’t wait to come back again!!

My partner and I booked an Escape package with Bells, staying in a Lakeside Villa. Our last trip here was back in 2014, we always wanted to come back, but life got in the way, including the pandemic lockdowns. So we very much looked forward to our trip and liked the concept of the package deals. All in all, we think Bells did a great job. For sure, this is a luxury accommodation to stay at, and for sure in these current uncertain economic times, the package deal is still expensive. But, we felt we got what we paid for. The Lakeside Villa is enormous, particularly the generous sized bathroom - two basins with plenty of benchtop space, large shower, wonderful free standing bathtub, fabulous towel heating (especially as this winter has been so cold). The villa bedroom easily…

Stayed in the one bedroom cottage number 25 for a Friday & Saturday night. The package was $1900 for the 2 nights. This included breakfast & dinner. Positives: 1. Great location with beautiful grounds, car parking next to your accommodation and easy walk to the reception, restaurant & facilities. 2. The 1 Bedroom cottage had everything you need to enjoy a nice relaxing stay with deck , lounges and large front porch. 3. Service was great , friendly relaxed staff 4. Hamper on arrival including beer, wine, nuts , gingerbread & chocolates. 5. Good tea & coffee facilities (no machine) 6. Nice gas log fire in lounge area. 7. Toilet on ground level. Negatives 1. Wouldn't accept NSW accommodation vouchers .. comment was we are not registered! I'm sure this is an image issue. 2. Pillows…

This was our 4th stay. We stay in the two bedroom cottages. Varies in price depending on the time of year ($2000 a night over easter but included breakfast and dinner sans alcoholic drinks or sides). I usually try to let little things go and stick with what’s positive. But this time I wanted to leave early and was happy to come home when we finally did so I think I will be blunt here. These comments are about this stay but also about previous stays. Pros: - the house keeping staff are beyond lovely and a credit to the hotel. - most of the restaurant staff are fantastic - room design is great - amenities in room are good - complimentary snacks/drinks are good - Tesla charger on property - yay Mid: - the restaurant food is pretty average. The food is way better at PBH…

Firstly, the positives. The setting was lovely, quiet, peaceful, room was very comfortable, lovely bathroom, welcome gift a nice touch, great teas provided and loved the bathroom products. The food and service in the restaurant was mostly excellent. Unfortunately the service from one of reception staff was not good. She had a cold and defensive manner. I mentioned we were a bit surprised that there were many children in the pool when we arrived as I had understood the place was for adults only, as the guest rooms were advertised that way. My mum and I had particularly wanted a quiet and peaceful stay as we were suffering a recent bereavement. The staff member rudely stated that the guests with children were checking out anyway and that the establishment wasn’t adults only. I…
