My husband and I decided on a quick, spontaneous trip to the Ozarks for a weekend away from the big city. Staying at the Parlor was the best decision we made!! The character and charm of the mansion are unmatched anywhere nearby. The hosts are delightful and took some time to tell us the history of the home as well...

What a pleasant surprise in the little town of Ironton, Missouri. We were guided by my cousin, who has visited this bed and breakfast several times, that this would be a great place to stay. She was correct. The innkeepers were a joy to talk with. Even though they were experiencing some family health issues, it did not show in...

My husband and I stayed the night after hiking through Tom Sauk trails. Walking on to the porch there was a sign welcoming us with our name on it! (That was a real nice touch!) Owners Jeannette and Bob were very nice and knowledgeable of the house and all its many period pieces. The porch was absolutely lovely on a...

I don't particularly care for frilly, fru-fru b&b's, but The Parlor is a 1907 home that has been tastefully restored without the overly-cloying sentimentality so often found in Victorian decor. Hostess Jeanette and her husband Bobby make you feel welcome and share a wealth of local history, as well as excellent breakfasts and afternoon treats. Our room was very clean...

We enjoy staying here so much. I have stayed here three times. It is local so thats one reason, but the atmosphere, food, and love in this place can not be compared to any other local b and b i have stayed in. Love, love, love Janette! She is the best host!

Our trip to Ironton, Mo exceeded our expectations. We arrived on Tuesday afternoon, found a placard on the porch with a welcome for us. Jeanette opened the door for us and we liked her immediately. The home is beautiful, decorated perfectly to the period. I didn't know I liked red till we stayed there!! The breakfast was delicious and satisfying,...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Parlor. It is the best stay we have ever had in a B & B. The home is beautiful and very interesting as we heard lots of stories about the home and about Ironton from Jeanette who is so much fun to be around. Our breakfasts were so very yummy...

We celebrated our anniversary and stayed in the "Waterfall" round room. This was our first stay in a B&B. Jeanette and Bob were very welcoming and accomodating. It felt like staying with friends while out of town. The history of the house was fascinating. I loved all the special touches, the decor and wonderful smelling soft sheets. My favorite part...
