I stayed in the nanny's quarters small but nice sized bathroom. My sister and friend stayed around the hall and the bathroom they shared was small. Beds not too comfy, but the hospitality, ambiance and food were extraordinary. Donn tells the history and Joe makes a a great breakfast. Rates are great for the area. Don't miss the story 8:30...

We stayed while on vacation bicycling the KATY Trail. There is secure bicycle storage. Donn and Joe were wonderful hosts. The mansion is beautiful and the guest rooms very large. It is easy to walk across the river into Booneville for dinner. It is a very quiet peaceful setting to relax on the porch or get a good night's sleep....

We celebrated my niece's bridal shower with a garden party at Rivercene and then a few spent the time in this amazing historical mansion. Donn and Joe were the perfect host and we can't wait to return. They are continuing to work on the mansion but doesn't interfer with the stay. Breakfast. This breakfast was the best. Made from scratch...

We stayed here in the fall. The breakfast was great, the beds were comfortable and it's close to Boonville, Jefferson City, and Columbia. The host was really entertaining and made us feel at home. The house is full of antiques, which gave it a unique atmosphere.

Rivercene is a beautiful mansion built in 1864 by the Missouri River. The proprietors, Joe and Don, are restoring it to it's original elegance and are doing an amazing job! The rooms are filled with beautiful period furnishings that makes one feel like they have stepped back in time. The accommodations are very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. The...

We stayed here after seeing a play at Arrow Rock's Lyceum Theater. Don and Joe made us feel at home and were very accommodating. The mansion is beautiful and we enjoyed the tour Don gave us in the morning after breakfast. You can tell how much Don and Joe love this place and it's history. The breakfast was delicious, warm...

Our group stayed here. We were met with warm hospitality and great accommodations. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The dinner we had prepared was delicious and well presented. The breakfast was incredible and was enough to take us many miles down the Katy trail. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, this is it.

“Some of the bathrooms are tiny. I would suggest you look at the rooms and Bathrooms, before you decide which one to book. This house was built in 1860's I think and has been remodeled several times. Joe and Don have grand plans thet should come together in the next year or two and I would like to go back.”
