We loved this B&B it was comprised of three buildings, one of which was converted box car that was fabulous and it sleeps about 7. We stopped early on a Tuesday only to find everything was closed. The towns seem to shutdown on Mondays and Tuesdays. But the owner, who also wrote a guide of the Katy Trail, has the...

This cute house couldn't be closer to the trail. The owners send you an email with instructions for using the keypad at the door and leave you a comfy house with a well stocked kitchen. You get to make your own breakfast, but it's fund to chat with the other guests. As long as you aren't expecting a chef to...

When you stay in a bed and breakfast along the Katy Trail, do not expect the same fare as in a metropolitan tourist are. What I am getting at is that breakfast is usually a do it your self process. In the case of the Katy Trail Bed and Breakfast, we are talking about bagels that you toast, youngster, a...

Stayed at the main house overnight, while riding the Katy Trail. This is a "self-serve" B&B, with no host on duty, but plenty of pre-packaged breakfast and snack foods available. The house was clean and comfortable. There were 4 of us, using only 2 of the 3 bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom was vacant during our stay. Only problem was finding...

We stayed for the weekend for a girl's getaway. There were 8 of us and we stayed in the Carriage house. it's an A-frame, so I conked my head once. The bathroom was kind of small because of the slopping ceiling. The door knob kept coming off and we had to hold the handle to make the toilet flush. The...

We biked out to the Boxcar and enjoyed dinner at the winery for our anniversary. The Boxcar was amazing... easy reservation and 'no host' check in. The place was clean, cozy, and well stocked with snacks, coffee, and breakfast items. We're hoping to return another time with friends (it can sleep up to 8).

5 young women celebrating our 70th birthday year. We couldn't have had a better getaway. We booked the main building and spent hours laughing and catching up in the comfort of a home away from home. Right on the Katy Trail, the location was ideal inside and out. Everything we could need was provided and in clean, excellent condition. Highly...

We had booked the entire main building and so enjoyed being able to sit in the large and comfy living room and chat into the wee hours of the night. The totally redecorated building included wonderful enhancements including a huge bathtub and shower in the upstairs room. Ample food and drink was provided, and we just loved everything about our...

Girlfriend and I spent a couple nights in the boxcar the first week of May. We loved it. It was plenty of room for the two of us, and all the beds and the futon were extremely comfortable. A kid or two would probably be okay, but if you were with another couple then it would get a bit cramped...

There were five of us girls (friends since high school). This was a great place to relax and unwind and catch up. Our accommodations were perfect and the owner made sure we had everything we needed right there. The kitchen was completely stocked with breakfast foods, snacks and fruit. The B&B is located in the heart of Rocheport so we...
