Our group of 6 cyclists did not stay in the B & B, but rather in a property behind the schoolhouse. It was perfect for our needs. There was a shed to house and lock up our bikes and gear. The dorm had two bedrooms outfitted with a futon and bunk beds. Each guest room had central heat and A/C...

I was on an organized bike tour on the Katy Trail and the tour company booked us into the School House B &B for our stop in Rocheport--what a treat! It is really an old school with lots of history. It is one of the nicest, cleanest best maintained B&B I've EVER stayed at. Everything was perfect--the owners who met...

We stayed here as part of our bike ride on the KATY trail. It is wonderful to see an old building be given a new chapter of life. The room were beautifully appointed with every attention to detail. Our hosts were gracious and accommodating to our group. There is a lovely garden with a fountain and tables and chairs where...

School House is a couple blocks off the Katy Trail, curb appeal is the best with its manicured and landscape grounds. Upon entering property, we discovered large shaded patio and brick walkway to the shed for our bikes. The interior has obviously been refurbished and detailed by an interior designer (If not, they fooled me.). Although breakfast didn't meet our...

We really enjoyed our parents weekend stay. It was like living in a piece of history. The daily fresh muffins are something I could get used to. The stuffed French toast with triple berry sauce was amazing.

Stayed next door at the Schoolhouse Dorm, sister property to the B and B. Everything, from the reservation online to self-check in and the self-serve breakfast in the morning was just what we needed. We were biking on the Katy Trail and this stay was a very comfortable and welcome respite. The room was small but very comfortable. It had...

We're glad you enjoyed your stay. We developed the Dorm House for exactly this type of guest--the pass-through Katy Trail cyclist who is looking for clean, comfortable budget lodging in Rocheport. It is not intended to be the full-service bed and breakfast experience that our Inn offers, but it meets the needs of long-haul cyclists who are on their own...

We spent our 42nd wedding anniversary at the School House Bed and Breakfast. What a wonderful place for a little nostalgia. We really enjoyed going back to school. The proprietors were friendly and answered all questions. We woke up to a delicious full breakfast. One evening we ate at the Bstro and the next evening at Abigail's. Wonderful dinner but...

Great stopover for one night while cycling the Katy trail. Town is really cute. Ate at Abigail's. Great meal but you must have reservations. The B and B hosts are very nice, room was great as was breakfast. They have a bike shed to store your bike if you are riding. I will be back next year with my wife!

My husband and I really enjoyed our getaway to Rocheport and the excellent lodging at School House Bed & Breakfast. We had fun exploring the quaint town, we had a delicious dinner at the Bistro, and we enjoyed the history and character of our charming B&B. It was the quiet retreat we needed.

This location was the perfect half way meeting place for Kansas City and St. Louis folks. Our group took the entire property and our decision was perfect. The place is charming capitalizing on the school house theme using key words for all the rooms (Teacher's Pet, Honor Roll, Spelling Bee, etc.). It is filled with charm, comfortable accommodations and up...
