The Boone's Lick is perfectly located for hopping on the Katy Trail or taking a stroll on main street. We really enjoyed the historical flavor of the Inn. Breakfast was very good and every person that we dealt with that was connected with the Inn was very kind and helpful. We'd easily opt to stay here again.

We stayed for a quick get-away weekend in late August. The owners had a family gathering elsewhere, so they left the key for us with instructions for parking. We had the whole main house to ourselves! While I was put-off at first, it truly felt like family letting us in the front door! We settled into the Master Room. Absolutely... More

We are very glad you were able to stay and enjoy the inn. We are sorry that we were not at the inn when you arrived. We do greet most all of our guests but we had a family gathering that had been planned for many months. We do hope you will be back and try one of our other... More

We actually stayed in the Thomas Jefferson room one night and the cottage the second night. We had to wait for the innkeeper to arrive and thought she was a little curt...like we were interrupting her day. While the room was interesting and had some beverages, the breakfast was just okay. We just felt like the innkeeper could have been... More

We are so sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. The check in procedure has been in place for over 29 years. While we do meet most of our guests upon arrival, there are times when we are delayed between the two lodging properties, which is why we ask guests to call us when they are... More

Stayed here as a last minute decision after spending some time on St Charles historic Main Street, and wanted to spend the night so somewhere close so we could have a nice dinner and finish exploring St Charles in the morning. We stayed in the Master Room, bed was comfortable, shower was nice and the rooms were quiet. Linda's Cheese... More

Relaxed well in the cottage for two nights. Enjoyed the large whirlpool tub and walk-in shower. Parking was conveniently close. Breakfast could have been better. It was nothing fancy and dishes made in house were on the sweet side both mornings. It would have been nice to have had more non sugar laden options. Linda was helpful and very friendly.... More

We are glad you enjoyed the inn and the parking which is actually onsite of our property. I am sorry the two breakfast options were too sweet for you. We do ask if guests have diet restrictions and vary the entrees each morning between egg dishes and french toast casseroles. The weekend you stayed we had guests staying for 4... More

Incredibly gracious hosts made sure we had all we needed for our stay in the adorable Attic accommodations, complete with our own balcony. Great location to enjoy shopping, dinning, or just walking along the Missouri River (right in our backyard). We ate at Lewis & Clarks, "shook hands" with Daniel Boone's statue and could almost hear the covered wagons of... More

We are very glad you enjoyed the accommodations. You are correct, the attic is one of the most authentic rustic rooms of the inn and extremely popular. We hope to see you again along the historic Boone's Lick Trail that Daniel Boone blazed outside of our inn. More

Amazing weekend trip! We stayed in the cottage and had a huge water jet tub, walk in shower with seating inside, a living room and huge kind bed for only $250 a night for the weekend. Worth every penny and the breakfast was delicious! Very happy for what we paid. The owner gave us recommendations for dinner on 'The Hill' and... More

Had a wonderful stay here over July 4th. We occupied two rooms upstairs overlooking Boone's Lick Trail Road and loved having the balcony/porch to sit out on and watch the fireworks and street action. The rooms were nice. Linda and Venetia, who take care of the Inn, were great. Linda's breakfast was excellent and she went out of her way... More

The room (#5) was NOT as advertised on their website. Expected completely different decor. The photo on the website was light, airy, soft and femine (white dust ruffle, cushion on the chair, nice lamp, bedside table, very Laura Ashley). In real life, it's dark, masculine and musty (brown dust ruffle, brown sheets, no cushions, dark leather chair, substandard toiletries, very... More

Stayed at Boone's Lick while attending a genealogy conference in St. Charles in May. Had Room 6 on ground level called 'garden room.'
