Boone’s Colonial Inn is quite expensive, but you cannot beat its location on St. Charles’ Main Street. They’ve done a good, tasteful job of “fixing up” a nearly 200-year-old building, keeping the old while adding modern conveniences. The air conditioning is great on a hot Missouri day. I stayed in the Napoleon “Suite”, but I’d call it an apartment. You...

The Thomas Jefferson suite was built in the early 1800's, and lovingly restored and built into a colonial feeling room. We will definitely be back. Beautiful property. Great service. We went the week before Christmas so we could see the Missouri river choked with ice, and walked the Christmas themed shops of Old St. Charles. It was a romantic get...

My husband and I were looking for a romantic get away for my birthday. He booked the Thomas Jefferson Suite. You step back in time yet have all the comforts you need. It was wonderful. We really enjoyed the little shops, the riverfront park, the history and the great food. I would love to go back.

I attended a party at Boone's Colonial Inn, and I will definitely be back to stay overnight. Our party (maybe 40? 50? people) was excellent. The service was outstanding. Great food, great drinks. Such a historic place as well - you can picture Thomas Jefferson walking in the door. If I didn't live 3.5 hours away, I would host many...

Boone's Colonial Inn is an amazing place to stay in historic St. Charles. It is like stepping back in time. The decor is perfect with beautiful antiques, and the restoration of the building was clearly done with a great respect for the historical details. I was fortunate enough to stay in the Thomas Jefferson Suite. The bed was so comfortable,...

I recently had a fundraiser at Boone's Colonial Inn and the owners, Stephen and Venetia, were truly fantastic! The food was amazing, the ambiance downright gorgeous and the service was terrific. I also asked them to address my party and discuss some of the historical aspects of the Inn and Stephen did a great job at that as well. Good...

My wife and I love Saint Charles as a weekend retreat. We had the opportunity to stay at in the Thomas Jefferson suite for a weekend and it was great. The room was nicely appointed. The bathroom and jetted tub were great and the bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast both in the room, and at their sister B&B...

Perfect environment for hosting an event, business meeting, social function. The staff, Venetia/Steve/Hunter are courteous, helpful, and invisible (when needed). Great food, great accommodations, great area to visit. I'd recommend to anyone wanting a non "hotel" experience. First rate.

My husband and I recently stayed in the Thomas Jefferson suite. Our reservation was made the same day we stayed, and the owner was so kind about accommodating us. There is truly no better location to stay at in St. Charles. We loved listening to music and swinging on the porch while watching the river. Our suite was immaculate; very...

If you want a good nights rest in a traditional colonial spot, this is the place. Comfortable, charming, king bed, jetted tub and separate shower - quiet and private. We also arranged a special dinner - fantastic food, wonderful hosts with historical highlights added. Stayed two nights - close to the river walk -we will be back.
