I stayed at the Moonrise while in town for business. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Restaurant could probably do with updating the menu but the food was ok. I'd suggest getting a room that's not on the same side as the rooftop bar as it can be a bit noisy. Other than that pleasant stay with a good choice...

Perfect location near Forest Park. Beautiful hotel, and a fantastic rooftop deck. The room was nice, quiet and it had the nicest bed I've slept on in a while. The only negative is that it has no pool or hot tub. But we didn't have time to use it if they had. had friends who lived into the area and...

This hotel is one of a kind! The space theme was a big hit with the kids. We were worried about the comings and goings of the roof top bar but it was no problem. We were on the second floor, which had additional security doors accessed with a room key card. There were no problems with noise although the...

I stayed four nights at the Moonrise this past weekend during a small conference which was held at the hotel. Compared to many other hotels I've been to in the past, the Moonrise felt much more quirky and trendy, yet still very comfortable and charming! My room was paid for so I cannot speak for the price, but from what...

Thank you for your very thorough review, you touched on all the points one wants to know about a hotel before they book there themselves. It was great to hear that you enjoyed the hotel, the staff and the amenities we offer, that is our ultimate goal of course. When you are next in St. Louis we would love to...

After a long, difficult drive through the flooding rains of last week, we checked into Moonrise on a whim on a Thursday night. We enjoy non-franchised places and it fit the bill! From the moment we entered the lobby, to all the cases of memorabilia, we chuckled all the way to the room. Our Room 527 was just the right...

Thank you for your review. Your stay had to of coincided with a major event in the area which tends to sell us out very fast for Saturday evenings. We are typically booked for Saturday nights at least 6 months in advance all year long. Like the airlines, rates change daily depending on the demand and amount of supply available,...

Nice little hotel done in a modern style. Free self parking is a benefit. Room was good, nothing special. The rooftop bar was very nice. The appetizer food list at the bar could have been better. Most listings were full sandwiches. No finger food snack options were available.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Moonrise. The rooms were good sized, with spacious bathrooms. Very close to Wash U. The rooms have prints of the moon or outer space in them - very cute. The staff is among the best I've met; super friendly and accommodating. The beds were also extra comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

1st time to St Louis and we picked the moonrise due to closeness of the Pageant. Arrived about 6 hrs early and they surprisingly had a room ready. Only bad thing was it was above the bar/club. I've read in other reviews about the noise so we turned that one down and they said they'd call when the next one...

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Pillows are such a tough thing for hoteliers to find that one size fits all kind of product, so at the Moonrise Hotel we keep an assortment of types/fills/densities on all beds for just that reason, I’m sorry if you didn’t find any of them to your liking. You were fortunate in...

My brother and I stayed for 4 nights and felt like family by the time we left. All the staff were exceptionally friendly. Customer service was their pride and joy. We plan to return and stay here the next time we are back visiting family in St. Louis!!

The Moonrise is an awesome hotel. We stayed there because it was .4 miles from The music venue we were going to to see our favorite band play at.
