This was our first visit to the Hotel Ignacio and we loved it! The decor is very cool with pieces of art work from St Louis University throughout the building. The renovation of the building was beautifully done, keeping much of the history of the building in place. The rooms are very nicely decorated and the use of a smart...

Thank you! We love being in the arts district. I am so glad that you were able to enjoy some of the activities and restaurants outside of the hotel! Best, Stacey Howlett

We stayed here for two nights in a 5th floor suite. The room was refurbished in a very artsy manner with lots of room and a great bathroom. We overlooked St Louis University which was interesting but had quite a lot of street noise. Downtown is a distance away and the immediate neighbourhood is quite sketchy. Lots of interesting artwork...

I apologize for the service you experienced. Being a small property, we do have a relatively small staff, but this should never hinder the guest experience as it did yours. Guest service is something that we take very seriously and I am sorry that you did not feel this was up to standard. Regarding your concerns, I will check on...

The hotel appears to want to be very cool/artsy but is in need of an upgrade. The carpet in my room was stained which was a bit unnerving, though I was okay with the remainder of the room. The room was a nice size and very comfortable. We ate at the restaurant twice for breakfast though I wouldn't suggest it...

I stayed here two nights. The building is in an area right by SLU that is being developed. It appears to be an old refurbed building which is a great idea. I have stayed at several other hotels in St. Louis over the years and my honest opinion is that this one has been mis-rated on the high side. The...

We recently stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. The hotel was doing some major remodeling of their cafe/breakfast restaurant. I was a little surprised to find that the rooms were on the small side without a lot of comfort. For instance there was only 1 desk chair and no other place to sit (we were in a room with...

The customer service was very nice. The room was clean and well decorated. It was hard to find and the doors are crazy heavy. We heard people opening them through out the night. Also the bathroom door is crazy heavy. All in all it was nice. It is in a nice area and a block from the Fox.

This boutique hotel is located near the arts district west of downtown. I stayed two nights for business and found it convenient, comfortable and reasonable. The restaurant was undergoing renovation so I can't add any insights about it. My only complaint was that the walls didn't shield acoustically very well. I could hear very clearly the person in the next...

We needed to stay a few nights while we moved our daughter in to SLU. I called Hotel Ignacio from a terrible hotel we were booked in further out in the suburbs. The staff was extremely helpful. Very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is immaculate and the room was beautiful. I cannot rave enough about this beautiful hotel . There...

Last weekend my wife and I stayed in a suite at Hotel Ignacio. Funky and cool come to mind. Electric blinds, contemporary furniture, 2 flat screens, heated bathroom floor, fridge filled with free pop &water, TV built into bathroom mirror, and the shower OMG I never thought I could be so clean. :) They have convenient parking in back for...

Hotel Ignacio is the place to be if visiting St. Louis University. Located directly across the street from McDonnell Douglass Hall it cannot be anymore convenient. Convenience is one thing, but convenient dumps do not do anyone any good. Hotel Ignacio is beautiful...very clean and the modern style mixed into the classic building add instant character. There is a hotel...
