We recently spent two nights at the hotel while visiting family in St Louis. Even with the construction in the down town area we found the hotel very welcoming at the front desk. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are quiet. The hotel has much history to offer and the breakfast was great. Love the former bar area... More

The hotel was the Omni when we booked our room. The staff is outstanding. There're friendly and customer service oriented. The hotel was sold and is in desperate need of renovations. There is no heat and no one to fix the heat! I'm not happy. Book your stay somewhere else.

Our second of 10 hotel stops travelling Route 66, all accommodation was paid for through Trailfinder, friendly guy on reception. Error in room booking and no other rooms due to conference the next day so friend had to sleep on sofa. St Louis is undertaking major re-construction work and with only a sat nav to work with, we had a horrendous time finding the hotel as roads were closed and to top it all - the hotel had its name covered up as it had just been taken over by new owners. I booked this hotel online from Australia through another site based on the photos and the price. This is not a good hotel. To start, the branding on the outside of the hotel is not helpful. Any identifying marks have been covered up with tarp, leaving only "Hotel." Confusing and a bad sign. The hotel was very well kept with touches of the past well preserved. We loved the wood work in the breakfast area. Everything was clean and cosy. Staff was very helpful. We were attending a conference at the dome and the staff helped make sure we had a shuttle..

We enjoyed staying in this older hotel with lots of personality. Our room was huge and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and we were central to downtown St. Louis. Breakfast was very good. The thing that stood out most for us, though, was how friendly and helpful the staff were. I would definitely stay here again.
