My 70 year old mother drove down to St Louis for the weekend. After getting lost attempting to find the Bed & Breakfast, she arrived at 5:25, which is slightly after the check in window. She was told there was no way she could get a key, as everyone had left. No attempt was made to contact her. My mother,... More

Such a welcoming place! The TV was on the main floor and thus not in the bedrooms. I came to realize I didn't need a TV or phone in my room. I just needed to relax and rejuvenate from my fast life. Lori and her three golden retrievers were so accommodating and the breakfasts were out of this world. I... More

My husband and I were heading to Kirkwood for his niece's wedding with reservations at this B and B. Earlier that week Atlanta had a ice storm that left thousands stranded in cars, including myself for 22 hours. A few days later my husband was very ill and I called East lake to let them know we may not make... More

My wife and I have stayed with Lori at her b & b four times now in the last year and like it a lot. The public rooms are comfortable and inviting. The bed in the big room is the most comfortable we have ever enjoyed anywhere. There is more stuff on surfaces and walls than we have a taste... More

I had reserved a night here this January the 18th and ended up having a health issue come up and am having surgery on the 15th. I emailed her asking if it would be possible to change nights since I had already paid in full when getting the gift certificate for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. I told her... More

Lovely Victorian home full of antiques. Remodeled baths, clean and sparkling, very comfortable beds. The neighborhood is so beautiful: trees, old homes, lush, and super-quiet. A short drive into Kirkwood and Webster. Perfect for guests visiting Webster University. Breakfasts are home-made and hearty. Recommended.

My fiance now husband spent our honeymoon at Eastlake Inn. We were exhausted and the bed felt so good. Lori's goldens greeted us in the morning before breakfast. We had this bacon quiche and warm spice muffins. Will be back for our honeymoon...maybe sooner!

My husband and I just had the most wonderful experience staying at the Eastlake Inn B & B. Everything was just how it looked on the website with the warm and cozy feeling of peacefulness and serenity. We stayed in Magnolia Room with a 2 person jacuzzi and a 2 person shower (biggest shower we've ever seen). Everything was just... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Eastlake Inn while visiting the St. Louis area. We have returned to this bed and breakfast because of the consistently good service and relaxing experience we have had there. We enjoy the Magnolia Room which has a comfortable king size bed. The gas fireplace provides additional warmth and creates a cozy atmosphere.... More

My stay at the Eastlake Inn was a very unpleasant one. We arrived on a Friday evening and planned on staying at the inn that night and on Saturday night. Our initial impression was that the inn was a little cluttered with plastic flowers and other decorating tastes that we didn't share but the fireplace in the room was a... More

We have been in business for 19 years. We wouldn't be in this business that long if the complaints you voiced were true. The bed you slept in was a premium Serta mattress with a gel filled mattress topper. Most people find this luxurious, you found it lumpy. We would have gladly taken this mattress topper off the bed if... More

“There are 3 rooms. As a solo, I stayed in the Sunset room. It was small but fit me perfectly. A couple might want to stay in one of the other two larger rooms.”
