Great experience! This is a small hotel built in the 1890's and completely renovated a few years ago. The room was clean, spacious and very homey. It has all the charm of a B & B without the guest and owner mixing. The staff was very helpful and friendly without getting into your business. We dined at the restaurant on...

The hotel staff promised a rate, I booked. The manager called a few days later and changed my booked dates without permission. She told me that the person who gave me the booking and rates was no longer employed there and had made a grievous mistake. She refused to honor the rates. I canceled my booking.

I am sorry that you were unhappy that we wouldn't allow your request to come in after midnight and not be charged for the room that we held for you while waiting for that arrival. That is what I refused to honor therefore changing that original reservation after speaking with you first.

Washington is a happening place. Not too many empty store fronts and revitalization everywhere. The hotel epitomizes the effort. We had a king room overlooking the main street. We walked down to the river and enjoyed the great architecture of the town. We slept good. Fun.

The hotel is very clean! Bed was comfy and shower was wonderful!! Small room but wasn't in it that much! One BIG problem was the tavern below...at 11pm the music was so loud, we couldn't sleep..I thought it was a live band. I went down to the desk and asked if it was a band playing, she said no it...

I travel with some frequency and spend too many nights in hotels each year. I've stayed at Old Dutch Hotel twice now, and I wholeheartedly encourage you to check it out. If you read the other reviews, you'll read all about the clean, comfortable rooms and nice showers. I don't think anyone has mentioned that this is one of the...

Thank you Dan for the wonderful review! We just love having you stay with us and appreciate also how you treat our staff always positive and kind. We believe in customer service both at the hotel and the tavern and I do think it is reflected in our staff which we are so fortunate to have and count our blessings...

If you are in the area of Washington Missouri, or even within 30 miles, this is the hotel to stay. Located in a historic downtown full of charm and just a few blocks from the Mississippi River. Had the pleasure of staying here months after it opened and going back recently it showed no signs of the years between. True...

Visited Washington for work. We were only in town a single night. This hotel was a nice place to spend the short stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was the 2nd largest I have ever used. The only complaint would be the indicator light on the AC unit was bright enough to...

Thanks Garret for the wonderful review! When you stay with us again let us know about that light bothering you. That is a very simple fix and we certainly can take care of that for our guests. We thank you for your business and we like to think that we have worked hard to make it a wonderful place to...

My wife and I loved staying in this hotel! It's clean, fresh, beautifully decorated, and provides great service! Superb! We spent three nights here and really felt exceptionally comfortable. Despite a tavern/restaurant downstairs, our room was quiet. The hotel's location is also super convenient to downtown Washington, the river trail, restaurants and bars too! Well done, Old Dutch! We'll be...

Been here a couple of times. Had a wrap that was really good and potato salad was different but really good. Really a quaint place to eat! Did have a hard time finding parking since most we saw was on the street in front of businesses.

So I was driving between Louisville and OKC on spring break and wanted to catch up with an old college friend from Washington. I looked for a place to stay, and found this gem for only a few dollars more than Super 8 so given online reviews and the cost I thought I would give it a try. It was...
