We stayed two nights at the Many Glacier Hotel in two double/twin rooms. While the rooms did not adjoin inside, the shared balcony provided fine access to each room. The view of Swiftcurrent Lake was spectacular, especially at dawn. The bellmen, reception and hotel staff, save the Ptarmigan Room were superb, with the bellmen making our small children feel special...

We first visited Banff and stayed at a Fairmont, then made our way down to Montana. I appreciated this leg of our trip so much more! The Many Glacier is old, yes. But we needed a place to sleep, eat, and shower. Our room was clean and cute. Two twin beds with a porch overlooking the lake, a small bathroom,...

We spent 2 nights here and two nights in the cabins at Lake McDonald Lodge during our visit to Glacier National Park. The Many Glacier area of the park is beautiful and this was the only area of the park where we saw grizzlies and moose. The lodge is rustic. No TV and the wifi is so bad that it's...

Many Glacier is the only hotel in Glacier, and it has multiple trails right next to it. It is quite convenient to hike over 5 different trails (Swiftcurrent, Iceberg, Grinnell). There is a beautiful lake next to it where you can rent kayaks and canoes. We rented a canoe and skipped rocks on the beach. Great experience! From the hotel, you...

Staying inside Glacier Park is so nice because you save a lot of travel time instead of going back and forth just for your lodging needs. Speaking of lodging needs, I have to say that before you decide on staying in any of the Park's hotels, you have to realize why you want to stay in these older, not too...

It is very difficult to get reservations and recommend a year in advance (reservations accepted 13 months prior to vacation date). Our problem is we prefer a room with 2 beds to accommodate our grandchildren and with lake view; both of which limits availability. There are 2 restaurants on the premises along with a snack shop, which are done well....

This historic hotel is 99 years old, so the floors creak and the amenities are limited, but the setting, proximity to hiking, fishing and great views is terrific. The food options are limited and the kitchen was down one day while we were there, so consider bringing a cooler with your own picnic. The food in the dining room is...

Many Glacier Hotel is not to be missed. The mountain views are show-stoppers. The lobby area is a wonderful old-style chalet, classic/historic national park charm. LOVED IT!!! The relaxed vibe of the lobby with the huge fireplace as the centerpiece was just wonderful. We worked a jigsaw puzzle in the lobby over the 3 days we were there, there were...

We didn't stay at the lodge, but ate lunch here one day. Cozy atmosphere with good service and good lunch. Not a ton of choices, but got the grilled chicken sandwich and it was good. Reasonable prices and convenient when exploring the park. Note, there was no cell service or Wifi.

My husband and I had a trip planned this past July for Many Glacier Hotel. We made our reservation over a year ago. When booking the reservation, we requested a lakefront room with a view and a balcony. When we arrived they wanted to put us in the basement, no balcony, and a very small window. There was also a...
