My stay at LMR wasn't long enough! The seemingly endless trails available from the door to the cabin are beautifully groomed and well marked/maintained. I enjoyed my extended period on the "Kids Loop"! Breakfast at LMR shouldn't be missed, even if you are not hungry, drop in and visit with Miss Kate, she is a joy to visit with. Kate...

I don't have words for how much we enjoyed our stay at Lone Mountain Ranch. The staff is incredible. The food is TO DIE FOR. My husband and I got so spoiled! Plus, you can't beat the natural beauty of the place. We rode horses, toured Yellowstone, and fly fished. Our guides were so knowledgeable and felt like old friends....

My wife and I are sadly leaving the LMR after a five night stay and have nothing but wonderful things to say about it. The cabins have the rustic feel you want in a Montana vacation but with all the creature comforts you would expect from a top notch resort. I will miss waking up every morning and starting a...

We originally chose Lone Mountain because we wanted to avoid the cookie-cutter / corporate experience of the on-mountain, ski resort hotels & condos --we wanted a more authentic mountain experience embedded in the natural landscape. It was the right choice. Even though Lone Mountain was traditionally known as Nordic & snow shoe center they now offer a very convenient concierge...

Best ski resort hands down! This is a ski in ski out resort. We spent 4 incredible nights. The staff were delightful. The cabin was comfortable and spacious. The food was excellent. The sleigh ride is a must! We are going to make this an annual trip.

I stayed here for one night at the end of a National Geographic tour. I was traveling with a friend, but we were not rooming together. I stayed in the Rainbow cabin and she was next door, in Grayling. When I sneezed, she texted "bless you". Funny, but not. Aside from the thin shared wall, the cabin was cozy. The...

Respectfully, I want to take this opportunity to say we are very proud of Bruce Anfinson. He's been a fixture on the Sleigh Ride Dinner for nearly 20 years, he is Montana native, a talented songwriter, and in my opinion, a perfect fit with the experience we want to provide. That being said, I appreciate your perspective and I'm disappointed...

We stayed at LMR for a week in August for my father in laws birthday. The staff was very helpful in booking excursions before hand. We did the mountain biking and the horseback riding on the ranch. We did rock climbing, hiking, fly fishing and a tour of Yellowstone. We did a special birthday party for my father in law...

This trip was by far the best I've had in a while. Before we ever arrived the staff helped us set up a wide array of activities. Our family is unique, so we each wanted something different and they happily complied. Skiing, Fly Fishing (icy water fishing was an unreal experience, especially when we caught a few white fish), Yellowstone...

This is one of our favorite places in all of Montana. Over 100 km of groomed cross country ski trails along the edge of the Lee Metcalf wilderness area, just 1 mile outside of Big Sky. But you don't need to ski to enjoy an awesome lodge and a great lunch. Whether it's the skiers buffet, with salad, soup, chili...

I loved this place and hope to come back one day. We had a cabin that was cozy, clean and comfortable. We made fire in the fireplace - which surprised me. I assume most people who come here are intelligent and won't burn the place down. The natural beauty of this location is unquestionable. It was covered in snow. Although...
