Great place for our family reunion. Clean and welcoming. Held 21 of us comfortably. Large kitchen, well-equipped, commercial-size gas range and oven, walk-in fridge and separate walk-in freezer, plenty of counter space. Preparing meals together was a valuable experience during the reunion. Six individual rooms like hotel rooms -- private bath, closet and area to unpack suitcases, towels, linen, roll-away...

We have stayed with Ruth & Blick several times and LOVED every minute!! As many extended family members join us as possible - we took up every room in the lodge on both trips! it is the PERFECT place for a family gathering!

My wife and I spent a week in Montana and Yellowstone. Our last 2 nights were at the Burnt Out Lodge in Big Timber, MT. We wanted to experience a rustic place that was comfortable, and Burnt Out Lodge surpassed our expectations. We had a large, clean room with a queen sized bed and views from both windows.
