We stayed at the Silver Forest Inn so we could ski for a couple of days before going to Yellowstone--Bridger Bowl just up the road. It was like being at a good friend's house or staying with family--but plenty of privacy. Good food too.

Close to mother nature far from service. A wonderful stay, good for family outing, with lots of natural surroundings, and rooms are really comfortable. Signage hard to spot at night, we managed to pass it by twice because it is tiny and not very brightly lit. Due to its remote location we really enjoyed star gazing in the evenings and... More

Stayed at this beautiful relaxing Inn between work assignments on a weekend. If you need to get away from the world (tough to get cell phone service but had internet) and want some of the nicest people to host you, this is the place. Far from a luxury resort, but if you want nice people, clean comfortable rooms and stunning... More

My brother, sister-in-law, husband and I stayed at the Silver Forest Inn for four days in September. We were visiting friends who lived near by and this was a luxurious place in a wonderful location. The new owner has furnished the house with beautiful art work, Montana artifacts, and antiques. The Inn is a short distance from Bozeman and right... More

Silver Forest Inn is a great place to experience the beauty of Bridger Canyon while staying in the Bozeman area. It’s a short 15 minute up from Bozeman, but the setting is a world away. We stayed in the Bridger View room which had its own little outdoor deck from which we could hear elk bugling and watch the mountains... More

We stayed at the Silver Forest Inn in August 2013 while touring MSU with my daughter. The innkeepers were new and obviously passionate about their place! My daughter said it all when she said, "I feel like I am staying with Grandma and Grandpa!". We had planned to get up early and do some hiking then shopping in Bozeman before... More

We stayed at the Inn three nights in August while touring MSU. Annie and Kenny were incredible hosts. We felt more like family than guests. The breakfasts and cookies were delicious. There were always flavored waters available along with a beautiful selection of teas. The views of Bridger Bowl were stunning. After long days of touring the area, it was... More

We went in late July, and they were about to change innkeepers. However, the owner was very friendly and I'm sure the new one will be great. This is a great place to stay, with a fantastic view and the house is very neat with a lot of charm and character. We stayed in the Bridger Room on our anniversary... More

We were welcomed to the Inn by phone from Randy. He laid out all of the possibilities for food and service for our little family.....which were awesome but we couldn't commit, because of our schedule. We had a great day skiing and showed up a bit late to find the fireplace going and the rooms well appointed. We chose to... More

We lucked out and managed to get the Turret Room for our stay. We got in late, so couldn't appreciate the views til morning, but the room was super cute and the bed was really comfy. We left the windows open and could coyotes howling at night. In the morning, the view of the mountains was just incredible, and there... More

“The B&B's website gives a good description of each room: http://www.silverforestinn.com/rooms/the-rooms We stayed for two nights. The first night we stayed in the Amber room. Very comfortable queen-size bed! We melted in :-)The bathroom was supposed to be shared with the Turret room, but no one was staying there that night, so it was all ours. Nice shower-- shampoo, conditioner, and body wash included. The second night we moved to the Madison room in the basement because it was the only room available. It had two twin beds and a private bathroom. There were no windows, but we liked it because the darkness helped us sleep in. This room is a great price for travelers on a budget, and you can still enjoy the views from the common spaces throughout the house (porch, living room, etc.)”
