We stayed at the Smokey Bear Ranch for 5 nights and were truly spoiled by Nancy, Scott and Maxie, the Newfy (who never failed to greet us).. The delicious extravagant breakfasts truly made us feel spoiled. We also enjoyed our customized sack lunch with all the goodies for our drive to South Dakota. Their knowledge of the area, hiking trails...

We stayed with Nancy & Scott for 4 days while on our honeymoon. The accommodations could not be nicer and the food was GREAT!!! My husband is an avid fly fisherman and Smoky Bear is a hidden gem. Scott and Nancy set us up with pristine fishing in the West branch of the Flathead via a trail on their property....

Well the pictures of the cabin I rented on the HomeAway app were misleading as when we arrived the owner showed us the cabin. Now mind you I am 64 and have a pea sized bladder. The owner opens the door and puts his hand on a ladder going up to the only bed in a loft of the cabin....

This was a perfect refuge for our 3 day stay at Glacier. Scott, Nancy and Maxie the Newfy were perfect hosts. Their experience and love of the area helped us to find our way. Breakfasts were delicious, beautiful quilts cover the walls and beds....why does anyone stay in a chain hotel?

There are inns, and there are INNS! The Smoky Bear Ranch, and its owners Scott and Nancy, were the very best part of my visit to Glacier National Park. I was at the end of a two week road trip through the western US. I was tired, but excited to see GNP and hopefully do a bit of hiking. I...

Nancy and Scott have done a great job making their B&B some place that's memorable! Homemade breakfasts are a highlight!! Nancy let us borrow hiking books/maps during our stay and also gave us suggestions as far as hikes and scenic points go. And they'll lend you bear spray.... just in case. The location is just a 10 min drive from...

What a great time we had in Montana and in the Glacier NP area! My husband, two kids and I arrived at Smoky Bear in the evening, tired after a great day of hiking in the park. We had stayed at Many Glacier hotel, McDonald lodge and a campground. We loved arriving at our Ltl Bear cabin, such a cozy...

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely area with a beautiful hike right on the property. It was like a fairyland. Stayed 4 nights with the most awesome breakfast every morning! All homemade and delicious. We never needed to eat again till about 2 or 3 each day, even with hiking all morning. Nancy was great about small menu changes for my...

Nancy at Smoky Bear makes the best breakfasts! This morning we had the same fruit, a muffin, grizzly eggs, ham, walnut waffle that had a sliced orange on top and a walnut. It was served with real Canadian maple syrup! Next day she served us fruit—cherry, kiwi, and cantaloupe. Then she gave us an apple-filled pastry. Then a huge plate...

This is only the second B&B we've ever stayed in. I always feel like I'm imposing. But Scott and Nancy have it all going on, making us feel at home, pampered and independent at the same time. First the bed was comfortable and the lodging luxuriously rustic. Breakfasts were fresh, homemade, unique, beautiful, regional and absolutely delicious and plentiful. The incredible...
