After at full day at Glacier, we arrived at Trout cabin near dusk. The porch light and an interior table lamp were left on for our arrival. We instantly felt welcome and at home. I still marvel at the cabin's construction, which communicated love through its meticulous attention to detail. The interior was cozy and comfortable. My husband, who has...

My husband and I stayed three nights in Elk Cabin in early August--not nearly long enough! On the first morning, we woke up to drizzly quiet that felt like camping. Sitting on the front porch with my coffee was pure heaven. The cabin is well equipped with every convenience: guidebooks, bear spray, comfortable furniture, a bag of coffee to get...

Reclusive Moose Is a great place to stay when visiting Glacier National Park. Four friends and I stayed in the Elk cabin while visiting the area in early July. Great cabin with a full kitchen, bath and four comfortable beds. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay and even included, Glacier NP day hike guidebook, bear spray, insect...

RM was everything the positive reviews noted and so much more. My wife and I along with our three kids (18, 16, and 12) loved it. The close proximity to the entrance to Glacier was ideal. The grill was great and we enjoyed evening campfires and chats with our fellow cabin neighbors. The cabins are fully equipped and had everything...

We stayed 3 nights here. This place looked much more remote and reclusive on the website than in reality. It's right on Blankenship road, basically a large lot with 5 or so cabins on it, that share a picnic area with grill. From the cabin, you are pretty close to the other cabins and can see cars going by on...

My husband and I, plus our daughter, son-in-law and two preschool grandsons stayed at the Glacier View Chalet at the beginning of August 2016. I had read the reviews, so was forewarned regarding issues with the home's layout; however, it worked well for us. My husband and I stayed in the lowest-level master suite, and our daughter's family stayed in...

Our family enjoyed the luxury of spending 10 nights at The Reclusive Moose. Our hosts were kind, helpful and hospitable in every way. The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. It is a great location- Close to Apgar Village, The Wandering Gringo, and Whitefish. We stayed in the Elk cabin, which had a fun loft for our...

We spent five days here and loved every minute of it. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Owners stopped by every day to check on us and were super helpful. Located about 15 minutes from West Glacier entrance to the park, it was ideal spot to explore from. I would absolutely come back.

We really enjoyed our four days at the Reclusive Moose. It's quiet and has everything you need. The owners are friendly and helpful. And a short drive to any of the three southern entrances to Glacier National Park. The Moose cabin was perfect for our family of three. And we very much enjoyed the grill and fire pit, along with...

We recently returned from a three night stay at the Reclusive Moose Cabins. The Cabins were clean, well maintained and could accommodate up to 7 people (2 bedrooms: 1 Queen bed, 2 twin; a Queen futon in living room and a loft mattress). We traveled with our two young kids. Reclusive Moose provided a pack n' play and we set...
