Overnighter for 2. Place just firing up for season so expected little but were VERY happy. Reception from Suzanne was like we were valued friends. Motelcabin style and plenty roomy for us. Cozeeee and warm. No frills but we carry our own preferring less expensive places with character. Grounds a bit muddy and some horse apples to dodge...character. Restaurant next...

The Jacobson's Cottages were our chosen spot in mid-September. Like virtually all the facilities in East Glacier, they are small, 50's motel cottages and bungalows. The rooms are sparse, but have a microwave and small refrigerator. The furnishings and outdoor decor are definitely from a bygone era, but the owners are helpful and friendly and the place was clean.

We loved our stay in the little cottage. It feels like you are walking into a different era, but not sure which one...maybe 80's? but they keep it very clean, there is a fridge and the beds are comfy. The owner was such a nice, old guy and he let us borrow bear spray since so many people can't travel...

We stayed here for the 2nd year in a row and enjoyed it just as much. We had a 2 bedroom cabin this time. It was spacious and clean. There was a living room, kitchen and an area to sit at a table and eat.

Stayed here to fish two medicine lake. Very limited parking. Had to park truck and boat out of sight so was not able to keen an eye on it unless out behind the cottage. Owners not particularly friendly. We would definitely look for another placenext time.

It isn't a 5 star hotel. But these small seasonal cabins are clean and comfortable. The area is quiet, and you can walk to a couple restaurants and a small grocery store. The owners are very friendly. Be prepared for wild swings in water temperature while you're in the shower - the hot water must be shared between cabins. The...

We stayed 3 nights and the cabin, while old, was perfectly fine. It was very clean and the bathroom had been updated recently. We had a little refrigerator and microwave. The location was perfect and we could walk to breakfast each day. The 2 bedrooms were very inexpensive.

We split our Glacier trip between West and East Glacier. We will be staying at Jacobsens from now on! Even though it was very warm (not that unusual for the summer), having a fan in the window brought the temperature down so much in the room I had to turn it off! It was very quiet, comfortable and clean! Love...

Great quaint nothing fancy little cottages in a beautiful setting. Owner is awesome!!!!! My wife called from her cell phone to find a place to stay while we were on the road. A gravely voice at the other end said, "Well, I just had a cancellation". Okay we thought. The place is well kept, but older and pleasantly reminded me...

We stayed in a large one room cabin that was the perfect size for the 3 of us. It was unseasonably warm and we were happy that a fan was supplied. The cabin was clean and insect free! ( a plus for me- no spiders). Close to Glacier Park and other great scenic areas.

Thank Nancy M
