My husband liked it. I thought it smelled funny. First, it was an old motor lodge. From the look of the floors, 1920s or 30s. Each pair of rooms looked like a little log cabin. The bathroom had been nicely redone with lots of tile. It was very clean but, you could hardly turn around in it. The bed was...

This hotel was so cute and the staff was very friendly. The owner, Don, was very, very helpful. He offered us a military discount and did everything he could to help us out. We had forgot our pump to blow up our mattress and he went to his office to get us blankets and pillows. The rooms were nicely decorated...

This place should be listed as a lodge for men only. I cannot imagine a female liking this place. It was shabby ( and I don't meant shabby chic), dirty, uncomfortable and unfriendly. The best part, and sometimes this is important, so I'll give it a 2 for a comfortable bed. However, if you want to walk beside the bed...

We stayed one night in Sportman's Lodge. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for restoration (due to a fire) during our stay, but the bar was open. Room was quite clean and very quiet. Bathroom could have been cleaner.

Despite their slick website, this place was a disappointment. Our "cabin" was dark and dank. I judge ALL hotels by their bathrooms. This one had a heavy wooden sliding bathroom door that didn't close all the way!!!! No ventilation, no hooks for convenience, no place for personal stuff. If that doesn't stop you, read on... Our cabin was one of...

It is peak season in this area when we visited and like others, we are looking for a reasonable bargain. That is exactly what the Sportsman Lodge is. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, location was excellent and easy access to the downtown eateries. What it is not: a 5 star resort - but I did not pay...

The info on their website makes it sound a lot better than it was. Room was small, dark and run down and worst of all there was no bathroom door. The bed was not great but for $75/night if all you're looking for is a place to sleep the room/bed linens were clean and it was very quiet.

The place is very run down. The rooms are cinder block, no curtains on back windows and air-conditioner was a small window unit that was way under rated for the room. We turned it off and just opened the windows in hope a a breeze. The lady working the check-in area which is also the bar was very friendly and...

Wife and I stayed here on our way to Yellowstone from Washington state. A fly fishermen's paradise if you enjoy that. We stayed for the location. A few miles from Virginia City (mining/ghost town)..not to be confused with the one in Nevada...and just about 1 1/2 hrs from Yellowstone West entrance. Very cozy cabins, usual amenities, wifi, very quiet. A...

My gal pal and I stayed for one night between taking in the Brewery Follies in Virginia City and Norris Hot Springs. We liked it. We felt safe. But it's not fancy, so if you're high maintenance it's not for you. Cabins are cozy (ie small) but clean. The bed was fine. Staff was very friendly, especially Caitlyn in the...
