Location: Just north of Yellowstone National Park, in Gardiner, Montana. This inn is located at north end of Gardiner. History: Opened in 1988. Good job of renovations through the years. Interior Decor: Welcoming lobby with woods and fireplace. Rooms are fairly standard. A bit noisy heater. Exterior Appearance: Lodge like appearance, with barren hills in the background. Outside view from...

Stayed at YVI for 3 nights in mid-August. We had the 3 Bed Deluxe suite which had 2 bedrooms (both with double beds) plus a third permanent double bed in the living area, which was odd and meant that the the only eating area was the breakfast bar. One bathroom only. Good, clean accommodation on the edge of town (not...

We stayed two nights here as we were making our way to the West Entrance. This hotel was really nice and the folks are friendly. The room was plenty spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and bath linens were above nice! They offer a breakfast bar that includes muffins, toast, bagels and fresh fruit. Juice and coffee. They...

I save a 5 rating for upscale resorts and hotels, but Yellowstone Village Inn deserves a high rating. It is a very special place. During the winter when it is not open, the owner is busy doing beautiful wood work which then appears in the Inn. The headboards, baseboards, shelves, counters, picture frames and more show his beautiful handiwork. The...

Considering the price and the position on Trip Advisor I was expecting somwthing better. The room was small and shabby, the bed so soft I woke up with a bad backache, the bathroom tiny and the mini-fridge old and very noisy, beside being in plain sight. There is an indoor pool but there are only a couple of narrow, unconfortable...

Stayed here during our family trip to yellowstone. Every hotel in this town is overpriced but this seemed to be the least expensive. We had a front room facing yellowstone. I don't know if I would pay the extra for front facing again...I didn't seem to look out the window much:) staff was friendly. Jason checked us in and was...

Like everything near Yellowstone, this inn is overpriced. Staff friendly, room clean, breakfast ok. We had room in front which was one queen(I swear it was only a double!), a table with 2 chairs and a fridge and tv. Very clean but very simple with no extras. There were picnic tables outside and a basketball hoop and tetherball set. They...

This facility is on the northern edge of town right on the highway. It's a reasonable walk to shopping, restaurants, and other activities. The room was extremely clean and of very good size. The room did have a refrigerator which was convenient as it was bigger than most motel refrigerators I've encountered the last few years. Compared to many other...

Stayed here one night just because of the location to Yellowstone. I thought it was overpriced, but then you are paying for the location. The staff was nice, the male that was there when I checked in seemed to be nicer then the females. The rooms are definitely outdated. They were very clean, don't get me wrong. Just think they...

I will begin by saying how very nice the lady at the front desk was when we entered looking for a room. We thought we had a room elsewhere, and it turned out that either we or they had made a mistake, and we were in town without accommodations. We were just going to take a basic room since we...
