We got our room, thought ok for the price it's great. Got settled in and soon we realized the AC was broke. We called, someone came in with a contraption that was portable, loud and took up a lot of space, but worked. We would stay here again but would ask for a room with working AC.

We were in town as my husband had a very seriously major operation. This hotel was within walking distance and it is well lit. The rooms were roomy, comfortable and clean. The staff was very polite, friendly and accommodating. The location made it easy to get around town and it was very quiet.

Check in pleasant and quick but clerk charged my card for a prepaid room (charge reversed days later post request). Whole place seemed rather run down. Rooms clean but somewhat dingy and dated; air conditioner in wall but another jury rigged inside. Toilet set was oblong, extending couple inches past round bowl. Went upstairs above checkin; carpets stained and filthy.... More

Paid $214 for Montana Grizzly Football Homecoming weekend-What a ripoff. Had a small queenbed room. Not as good quality as Motel 6. Analog TV, peeling paint, phone that doesn't work, breakfast of stale cereal. The room was dark and dingy. There was only 1 staff person on the property on a Saturday Night. Find another alternative.

This hotel provides large, clean, comfortable, will appointed rooms and a slightly better than average continental breakfast,. but otherwise lacks any charm or amenities that would make for a memorable stay. It is a good choice for night's sleep on a road trip, or maybe a couple of nights while on business in town. The on-premises restaurant is closed, but... More

The wife and I stayed 3 nights and found the hotel to be great for our visit to go through our sons orientation and move in to the U of Montana. The hotel is walking distance to the river and downtown dining. It is a 7 min drive to the campus. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The... More

The only good thing about the Red Lion was the staff. The hotel is very outdated and needs a huge overhaul. Room was dingy, carpets fithly (don't take off your shoes) and bathrooms as clean as they could get considering how old they are. Very stained and looks very dirty. Breakfast was ok but in the lobby and very crowded.... More

As with the majority of Red Lion Inns, not much pride is taken with their hotels. The front desk staff was great both when checking in and out, but the room was dated and the property was dirty (garbage overflowing, burned out bulbs, etc). It was an okay stay but makes you rethink Red Lion as a good brand overall.

We enjoyed the Red Lion in Missoula very much! It was quiet, clean, and a good place to start our vacation trip. We enjoyed that it was close to a food stored so we could stock up for the next day's travels.

We arrived at the Red Lion Inn and Suite Missoula with some degree of trepidation. We were on a road trip to Yellowstone, and Dad had booked the room. If Mom had booked the room, we might not have worried. But since Dad booked it, we decided we'd better read the reviews. Mom read them all out loud to us.... More
