Have been reading some of the reviews for this facility and find that there is always going to be Nay Sayers. The Hot Springs is a old rustic piece of the past, that we are lucky to still have around. What must have been really something in its hay days of the 40's & 50's, is now a little older,...

Thanks for clearing the air! I don't know who those nay-sayers are, but they obviously don't know what they're talking about, or maybe they just didn't know what to expect. Thanks for painting folks an accurate picture to look forward to visiting. We appreciate it and can't wait to see you, your family, and your friends again soon!

Great little get away. Don't expect fancy---no little lotions etc......but expect rustic, friendly and wonderful hosts. Family run and very cozy. Woke to a deer out our window. Did not eat dinner but had a wonderful breakfast out on the deck in the sun above the pool. Rooms are basic in the Meriweather Lewis Lodge.....but perfectly adequate and cozy. Keep...

We're glad you found a way to enjoy yourselves without the extra foo-foos like lotions and such. We try to focus on the important stuff, like making you fell warm and cozy and providing you with a good meal. It's a shame you missed dinner. The steaks and pizzas are fabulous! Next time, OK? We'll look forward to seeing you...

We stayed at the hot springs for one night as we drove from Glacier park to Southern Idaho. The location, right at the border of Montana and Idaho. Our Cabin (#7) was clean and comfortable. We slep like babies. The hot spring itself was a great -- pristine and toasty hot. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food delicious....

Right you are! This is a great stop heading to or from Glacier, as well as Yellowstone, and plenty of places in between and beyond. The restaurant thanks you for your praise as we often feel like our guests are joining us in our home. As far as the facilities being tired, at times we are inclined to agree and...

My girlfriend and I went there for the weekend, and we were INCREDIBLY impressed. The cabin we rented was only $92, and included a kitchenette with sink, fridge and stove, as well as a full bath and queen size bed. We ate at the kitchen table overlooking the forest, with deer, rabbits and squirrels. The bed was very comfortable, and...

It's always good to hear about positive experiences! We're glad you enjoyed the pizzas. We are very proud of them. The calzones were great as a summer special. We hope we have the opportunity to share them again in the future. Thanks for your kind words but more importantly thanks for having a good, relaxing time. Come again soon!

My boyfriend and I went up for a weekend getaway and were not disappointed! The family that owns the hotel are very nice and it is truly the best homemade pizza and calzones on the planet! Notice I said "relax,"....this is NOT a party place, unlike other hot springs resorts we've been to in Montana. Location is beautiful. Stayed in...

It's good to hear you enjoyed yourself. Thanks for mentioning details that other guests will find helpful, like the Jacuzzi cabins having Jacuzzi bathtubs and not hot tubs (something we have to explain to guests regularly), and the fact that we promote a peaceful experience as opposed to a party atmosphere. I hate to correct such a positive review, but...

We went to Lost Trail Hot Springs for a girls weekend away which includes Mom, Three sisters, niece and her friend. Our cabin was spacious, and clean, and comfortable. The pool was nice and hot tub wonderful. We had a great dinner in the restaurant, steaks to write home about. Beautiful country. We will go back again - all around...

I recently spent a long weekend with my family at the resort. The cabin was warm, comfortable, and acceptably clean. The pool is OK. The cabins and pool are aged but in decent condition. My family and I spent a pleasant weekend and enjoyed Lost Trail Ski area. The real let down happened after we left and stopped for fuel...

Good point, "watch your valuables", no matter where you go! But the only statement made in this review that gives any reflection of our establishment is the following: "The cabin was warm, comfortable, and acceptably clean. The pool is OK. The cabins and pool are aged but in decent condition." Then the reviewer goes on to give details of an...

We stayed here just this last weekend and found the experience quite enjoyable. We stayed in Number 2 cabin and found it to be just fine. It was clean, plenty of towels and soap. There was no shampoo but we use our own anyway when traveling. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant which was fantastic. My wife and...

My wife and I came to get some relaxation. When we arrived the staff was very pleasant and got us checked into our cabin.
