This is a lovely hotel which has been beautifully restored. The large front porch is a great place to relax. We stayed in room 309, a pet-friendly room. The room was very small and dark. The one window was located above eye-level, so we could only see the sky. There was a nice desk, but when it was in use,...

I really wanted to love the Sacajawea Hotel. It IS beautifully restored. Service is warm and friendly. The front porch is a great place for a glass of champagne on a sunny Montana spring day, and the complimentary in-room continental breakfast is a great amenity. I loved it all, except for one thing. We stayed there on a Friday night,...

On a trip home from from the BZN airport, I stopped in to grab a quick lunch. I asked the waiter for a recommendation and he suggested the Mac & cheese. This was not your mothers mac & cheese (i.e. Kraft). This was a rich concoction of 5 cheeses and certainly the best I've ever had. Tip: Eat downstairs in...

Our *****Star rating is relative to the immediate area and region. We really loved our stay at "The Sac" - check in with Dillon was thoughtful with complimentary champaign and a cold towel; our shoulder season free upgrade was supremely appreciated; our room was spotless was huge with a super large shower and super comfortable with several premiums like fudge...

TNTATTHEBEACH We thank you for this 5 star review & your feedback! We are constantly updating our menu as our chef tries new dishes but the constant is its always delicious, the mac & cheese you enjoyed is a local favorite. We think breakfast in bed really sets our continental breakfast apart but in the warmer months you can choose...

The title above may suggest a tatty old hotel that has been lightly updated for modern travelers. This is not so. The Sacajawea Hotel is thoroughly, beautifully restored, both functionally and aesthetically, with only one problem (see below). The reservation process was smooth and easy. The lobby is tastefully done in historic style. No kitschy "wild west" paintings or stuffed...

Microbe2015 Thanks so much for your feedback, we are thrilled you enjoyed your stay. Part of having a historic hotel means unfortunately very thin walls, but we do try to mediate the noise so that both our hotel & bar guests can enjoy themselves in the manner they choose.

I have stayed here several times by myself over the past dozen years or so either in the fall or early spring but never over a weekend. I like historic hotels and their quirks but I try to minimize the associated issues. This time we were two couples and the weekend stay couldn't be avoided. First off, the current owners...

We're 30 miles away and a stay cation sounded perfect after the hectic weeks that my girlfriend and I had just endured. We arrived later than we wanted and were immediately greeted with a lavendar hot towel at the counter. Our friend Dillion made the check-in process seamless and confirmed our dinner reservations while we both barely stood awake. We...

You can almost hear a cowboy's lone whistle as you check in to this classic hotel - just a short drive from Bozeman Montana. Greeted with drinks and a hot towel, it is clear that the management team understands customer service.
