The people are warm, friendly, and accommodating. We were there for the Independence Day celebration and asked where was the best place to view the fireworks. They said, "Right in our driveway! We'll shave a chair for you!" Doesn't get much friendlier than that. Room was clean, bed comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet - except for the fireworks! :)...

We stayed in a two bedroom unit with kitchenette for 2 nights, and were very happy with our choice. Friendly proprietors, very clean, comfortable, and inexpensive. Very quiet as it's situated near the edge of town. The kitchenette, though tiny, had everything we needed. The only downside we experienced was slow internet.

I have been staying in this motel for the past thirty years. It is a small, family-run location sitting on the edge of the town (about six blocks from the main drag) away from all of the noise. The rooms are spotless and are well maintained. If there is a problem they typically arrive within five minutes to effect the...

West Yellowstone is an expensive place to visit because of its close proximity to Yellowstone Park so we were delighted to find the Lazy G which is more of a mom and pop place to stay and very reasonably priced. It is not fancy but the rooms are exceptionally clean and the beds are very comfortable. We had a ceiling...

West Yellowstone is extremely touristy, and some parts of town can be crowded, noisy and tacky. Fortunately, the Lazy G offers a fine place to stay if you have to stay in West Yellowstone. I stayed here in late May while in town for business. It's located several blocks from the main drag, so the area is quieter (although not...

This place did not disappoint. We were impressed when we checked in and were given a little gift bag filled with chips, candies, and breakfast bars. What a nice touch! It doesn't cost the owners that much but gives guests such a welcome feeling. The rooms were very clean. We loved the wood paneling. Of course it looks dated and...

We've been coming to the Lazy G for years and it never disappoints. The rooms are super clean. A bit Kitchy, but that's the charm! It's friendly and family owned, and in a quieter, less crowded part of town than some of the other hotels. They've always been very accommodating. Definitely stay here rather than one of the chain hotels!

We spent two nights here, our room was clean with a small, but comfortable, bathroom. There is a wall-to-wall carpeting, that I don’t like but is very common in US. Wi-fi was working very slow. Overall it’s a nice motel about 3 km to the park gate and it’s a good option if accommodations inside the park are fully booked....

Just occasionally you stay at a Motel were you are made to welcome. That my travelling friends is exactly how you or we were welcomed. Ok its a little old fashioned & not the most modern of décor but that is reflected in the price. Besides all the usual in room facility's eg fridge, microwave & tv you get a...

This room was a great value. We spent the three days exploring YNP so just needed a place to shower and sleep. Friendly, clean and quiet. Great fluffy towels:) Many good restaurants nearby for breakfast and dinner. Several had box lunches offered to take on the road.

“I did not realize it when I made the reservation but Lazy G has more than one story. If you need a room on the first floor, you need to indicate that. I should have called ahead to make sure we were on the first floor.”
