We stayed at the Fort Wilsall Motel in room number 3. It had a private bathroom and very comfortable bed. The price was very reasonable. The view out the window was spectacular! Mae was very helpful and friendly, ensuring that we were as comfortable as could be and even offered to bring us coffee in the morning. The room was...

peace and quiet and beauty outside your door, room was immaculate. Microwave, small fridge and coffee pot in room #1. No TV or phone but they do have wifi. Heater was turned on prior to my arrival so it was very cozy, nothing but great things to say about this place.

We booked a room with the shared bathhouse, but on arrival, a cancellation had happened and we were given a tour of both to make our choice. We took the in-room bath and had a great night. We did check out the bathhouse as well and found it quite clean and would have been fine with that anyway! There was...

Friendly helpful owners, clean comfortable rooms and a good price. We weren't sure where to go in wilsall to get there but they had it well marked. Definitely a much better choice than driving an extra 28 miles for a cookie cutter style motel in Livingston.

We rented the two cabins with adjoining doors for we were traveling in a group of 5. The rooms were clean, roomy and had all the things we needed. Mae was so friendly and helped us with any questions we had. We loved watching the sun rise above the Crazy Mountains every morning. In the evening we sat around the...

Me and my wife recently stayed @ fort Wilsall while in town to visit family and do a little fishing. It is a beautifully kept lodge. The owner/operator is such a kind lady my wife had nothing but good things to say about her. They are pet friendly. We will be back again. It's just a great destination.

The owner's were very welcoming and left two cabins open so we could pick the one that best suited us. It was quiet and the cabin was perfect for our little entourage. The bathrooms are well stocked and the nice grassy area and picnic table was great for relaxing and cooking dinner.

Fort Wilsall Motel and Camp Ground is located in the heart of Wilsall Montana, a small rural community located in the Shields River Valley of south central Montana. Mountains surround the area and the scenery is breathtaking. Mae and Dick Downey have created a rustic, yet modern haven for the weary traveler to stay in peace and quiet, far from...

Very friendly, well kept, and choice of cabin/bunkhouse or teepee. Some have restrooms that are outside, but still are very functional. If you are fortunate enough to be there during a Ranch Rodeo, don't miss the picnic cookout and the breakfast the next morning. Great times, cowboys, steak n beans and dancing. The Bank Bar is well worth a stop...

Spent 3 nights at Fort Wilsall during a retreat. Shared the biggest room with a friend. Perfect space for us. Others shared the doubles and found them a bit small for 2 unless you know the person (bunk beds). Tepee got great reviews. Super clean, great space for the $$$.
