If ur on a quick trip to Desaru and are not interested in the beach or seabreeze, opt for this 3star hotel. Located near to the traffic lights leading out to the Desaru Senai expressway, it has the necessary conveniences: efficient lift, good breakfast spread and clean room. Except that for two, it is quite a squeeze as you have to make do with the basic amenities minus stuff like hairdryer and ironing board that you find in a 5star hotel.
And parking is very limited if you are thinking of being inside the tiny carpark as outside there is lots of space but you may not get to enjoy a good nite sleep if you are thinking of nocturnal beings taking a fancy at your mobile. This is a sister hotel to the bigger Amansari Residences which has since closed.
As it only serves breakfast due to Covid, we had our lunch after checking in at the nearby Kedai Kopi Otai, a quaint kopitiam serving local delicacies. Rather apt choice for sexagenarians like us.

Pro Restaurants and shops are within walking distance and at reasonable prices. 10KM to Pantai Delima Putih (public beach).
Con The Wifi speed is too slow disturbing surfing and searching. Parking is limited but public parking lot are nearby.

Business Hotel no other amenities. Room clean but central AC carried smell residue from other rooms where guests must hv smoked on the room. Else, room, linen, toilet, shower all clean. Breakfast moderate. This hotel has plenty of eateries around it .. mainly Indonesian, and even (quite good) Pakistan Afghan food .. and many satay stalls of different varieties. I guess anyone living here must be somehow related to the giant Petronas complex in pengerang 30 minutes away.

Stayed at the family suite as I need to have a workplace and this type of room provide a small dining table to work on. Good selection of TV channels available, a good Wi-Fi connection, and very well lit. Could have been better with a cleaner wall, clean pillow & linen, and fresh towels. Serves adequate breakfast spread especially during the pandemic season. A possible stay repeat and hopefully the hotel improves better.

Room is clean and tidy just the minibar are empty its will be good if the minibar refill with some soft drinks and few number of snack for a guests .So far everthing is acceptable and good for value .Their staff are polite and welcoming , breakfast was good. Will come back again later.

Very modern and very clean. Comfortable room and good wifi connection. Very near to restaurants. Breakfast is a bit plain and not good variety. Porridge not enough condiments should have at least salted egg. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Zamre at front office was very courteous and profesional.

Still a brand new hotel. We stay at level 5, and the toilet's floor tend to clogged easily. The selection of breakfast is not much, but is okay. Wifi is only available at the lobby. Great location, nearby Petronas.

Very smooth check-in & check-out procedures. Many restaurants nearby. Located strategically, near SKS Mall but at that time, got construction work in progress nearby the hotel area. Cozy & clean room with good TV channels. Friendly staffs & nice breakfast. Weak WiFi coverage, not full amenities such as laundry bags.

The newest big hotel in Desaru (Bandar Penawar) with the lowest rate - a huge welcome at an area dominated by expensive Beach Resorts. 15 story high with around 20 rooms per floor it is a welcome sight especially for working people involved with development projects around and near Desaru.
Since I went to Desaru almost every week, the hotel fits perfectly with my budget because, previously before the hotel opens I had to fork out almost 600 ringgit plus for a two days stay in the cheapest room at one of the beach resort hotels. There are small budget hotels nearby but they were usually always full. Now I only spend half of that amount, and breakfast is included.
The rooms are quite nice. All rooms have windows with outside view, and the room size are average. The closet space is adequate, and I really like that they have a counter-top cabinet for my luggage. Instead of tables, they provide a long fixed counter under the TV. Though it is small, it is enough to put my notebook to work on. They provide a lot of power points in that room - two above the counter and two next to the bed. There's a small fridge under cabinet. Overall its quite a comfortable room to stay in.
Cons: They really need to check the floor traps in their shower. It floods every time I shower, due to slow drainage flow - probably caused by blockage in their vent pipes.
The staff are friendly and helpful. It's a brand new hotel with new staff so it is understandable that some of their service might be a bit lacking but I do see some improvement every week I was there. For instance, I do see some improvement to the variety of breakfast menu served.
Since they open in August 2016, the hotel doesn't have a land line phone number and internet yet. It's actually not their fault because I have the same problem with my project there - TELEKOM doesn't have enough access points and fiber network to cater for the speedy development of Desaru. The area is developing faster than TELEKOM can approve the budget to upgrade their network there. A needed service bogged down by bureaucratic indecision. At least the hotel have some wifi available at the lobby. Other than that, I had to make do with slow internet access from mobile service when I'm in the room. Unfortunately both Maxis and Celcom (which is a subsidiary of TELEKOM-no surprise there) have slow connection in Desaru.
The hotel is perfectly located at the Desaru intersection off the main road to Kota Tinggi, Pengerang and near the access to the Senai Desaru Highway. It is currently the only high rise building there, visible even from the highway. Located behind the Petronas Petrol Station in Desaru, there are a lot of restaurants, shops and eateries nearby. There's also a supermarket within a walking distance.
I have been staying in the hotel almost every week starting from the second week of their opening. Traveling alone for work.

No kindness & No internet & No compliance with guest & deficiency of laundry service & late delivery of tissue & material & unsafe condition of balcony & no proper transport & no air-conditioner at Gym & problem of hot water & No operation of dinner & lunch & no experience of customer service & limited area of telecommunication & no efficiency of cost(too expensive) & no beach & no swimming pool & no flow of water due to unbalanced level of ground at shower room & terrible memory & new construction building ! Didnt see any beautiful beaches during this trip. Went to ostrich farm which is just next to the coastline (which is not fantastic) and that journey was already a 20min drive (estimated).
There are more places to choose from in the Bandar Penawar area.
