Pro Restaurants and shops are within walking distance and at reasonable prices. 10KM to Pantai Delima Putih (public beach). Con The Wifi speed is too slow disturbing surfing and searching. Parking is limited but public parking lot are nearby.

Stayed at the family suite as I need to have a workplace and this type of room provide a small dining table to work on. Good selection of TV channels available, a good Wi-Fi connection, and very well lit. Could have been better with a cleaner wall, clean pillow & linen, and fresh towels. Serves adequate breakfast spread especially during the pandemic season. A possible stay repeat and hopefully the hotel improves better.

If ur on a quick trip to Desaru and are not interested in the beach or seabreeze, opt for this 3star hotel. Located near to the traffic lights leading out to the Desaru Senai expressway, it has the necessary conveniences: efficient lift, good breakfast spread and clean room. Except that for two, it is quite a squeeze as you have to make do with the basic amenities minus stuff like hairdryer and ironing board that you find in a 5star hotel. And parking is very limited if you are thinking of being inside the tiny carpark as outside there is lots of space but you may not get to enjoy a good nite sleep if you are thinking of nocturnal beings taking a fancy at your mobile. This is a sister hotel to the bigger Amansari Residences which has since closed. As it only serves breakfast due to Covid, we had our lunch after checking in at the nearby Kedai Kopi Otai, a quaint kopitiam serving local delicacies. Rather apt choice for sexagenarians like us.

The first room that I was given had ants on the bedside table and when I picked up the phone to call the front desk, it wasn’t working. So I had to take all my luggage to the reception to inform them and they promptly gave me another room. The room was fine but it had a poorly designed bedside table with sharp corners that was jutting higher than the bed itself, which gave me bruises when I sat down too close to it. There was also no safe or hairdryer in the room and the fridge wasn’t working. Next day, I had to queue more than 30 minutes to get into the breakfast cafe as it was full. Disappointed.

A regular of this hotel and it never fails me. It's very clean and very well maintained. It's a bit far from all the nice places in Johor but hotel staff can always arrange a cab for their guests. There are quite a few shops you can go to to buy your needs. There's an sks mall as well that offers the basics. Food is... Alright.

Went there with my husband on Friday for 2 days one night. The room at first look was clean. After having my shower, I went to the bed and noticed the bedsheets were dirty. The covers had hair in them. The bedsheets had stains. I was pretty tired and chose to ignore it but it was in my mind the entire time and I couldn't wait for morning so that I could check out. The whole thing was just disgusting.

Stayed there for a family 3D2N trip recently during the June school holidays. On the first night, the hot water flask broke down and we called the reception. They came into our room with a big stick for the toilet bowl, definitely the English standards of the staff needs to be improved! After they realized their mistake, they went and ''repaired'' the hot water flask. Waited for half an hour, and still the flask was still not working! We were very amazed by the standards of the maintenance team, and finally after waiting for 1 hour before I was able to get a working hot water flask. Also, the hotel could IMPROVE on the key cards for the room, should provide 2 cards instead of 1. Also, there is no basic amenities in the room (toothpaste & toothbrush) luckily we brought it along, otherwise we will need to buy it ourselves. There is also non existent sound proofing at all, i can hear the motorbikes and cars revving up their engines at 3am, and I could not sleep the whole night because of that.

Hotel Amansari Desaru offers huge lodging for big family with children for comfortable stay in Desaru. However, the room is not poorly cleaned - hair on sofa n chair, n a layer of dust undet the sofa bed. Extra pillows need to be rented n the hairdryer needs to be loaned from hotel (without payment though). The morning buffet at the restautant is decent though the spread is limited. Do remember to get the receipt for visitors tax to avoid being accused of not paying it at the beggining of the stay. Also do request for extra key card (only 1 is given!...) so that u can switch on the electrical appliances in the room (no other cards can replace the key card for this function) while your family members are left in the room when u need to get something on your own.

They do have a gym, but no pool. Four Different types of rooms with affordable pricing from 288 RM, includes breakfast only. For lunch or dinner you might want to head down to the nearby rows of shops on foot. Although there is a mall(SKS City Mall) nearby , I do not recommend you to go there as there is only 1 malay food stall there, some clothes store and mobile store (very boring).
