Hotel location was good. Its not a beachfront but hardly 10 mins walk to beach. Also, they provided the shuttle/buggy to the private beach which takes 5 mins travel time and 10 mins to the public beach. cozy rooms, near to water park, food was good.

My family of 6 stayed at this hotel during the Christmas holiday period. We booked the Rock Royalty King rooms. Our rooms are in immaculate condition. Very spacious even with an extra bed. Super clean and we have nice view of the next door water park. One of the advantages in staying at the rock royalty room is we have access to the rock royalty lounge. Check-in and check-out processes were done at this lounge which is a good thing because the reception at the main lobby has long queues due to the peak season. The lounge also offers premium hot drinks, cocktails, mocktails, juices and soft drinks. Light snacks are provided too. The hotel is not on a beach front but the beach is just a 5-7 min walk. Hotel guests get special rates to enter the next door water park. Our room rates include the buffet breakfast which was excellent! Many varieties and delicious local and international delicacy. It’s very busy period but all the staff are cool, friendly and helpful esp those manning the rock royalty lounge. All in all, we had a great time at Hard Rock Hotel, Desaru Coast and will surely stay here again in the future.…

I stayed at Hard Rock for a family vacation, and it was fantastic! 1. The view from our room was amazing. Our room is facing the Adventure Waterpark. 2. The staff were super friendly, helpful, very kind and cool. 3. The hotel was clean and spcious. 4. The parking area is big. Overall, it was the best experience for our family vacation. It was a great stay with small kids as there is adventure water park connected to the hotel and it was free admission as it was their anniversary if you booked the hotel directly through hard rock website.

Love the hotel, it feels very homely and comfy. I've never been alone in a hotel room but I felt extremely safe and comfortable being alone in Hard Rock (yes, I am surprised myself too). The room is extremely clean and spacious! Beyond worth it, would definitely come back.

Issues include 1. Room aircon temperature doesnt work. Even if you take the temperature to 31 it still keeps the room extremely cold 2. Too many lizards around 3. Balcony door latch not operational 4. Too less plug points 5. Room floor gets wet once aircon is turned off 6. Pillows were horrible 7. Room phone handset wasnt working Overall a forgetful stay. Would not come back or recommend to others. Guess Westin would be a better choice

Awesome stay in Hard Rock Desaru Coast! Beautiful design accompanied with great rock&roll music everywhere you go esp in the lift, my kids really enjoy it and dancing all the time. The themepark, the breakfast everythg was so perfect! Deserved 5star! Definitely will come again in future.

The check-in was super smooth and they had prepared the room on time. Room was great & facing the water park. However hotel can improve on the cleanliness of the room. Some surfaces were dusty and there was fluid stain under the fridge. Sliding door to the balcony was super tight to open probably for safety reason? Waterpark was the bomb. Clean, spacious and family friendly. Lots of shades to rest under. Breakfast spread was okay, teh tarik was seperb though. However the dinner buffet was so-so in terms of taste and freshness. Maybe can improve on the cakes. My husband and I wanted to get the ala carte food from the Sessions restaurant however the staff discouraged us by saying the ala carte food would take an hour to prepare so better get the buffet instead which was more expensive obviously. …
