Great few days at the one and only. Staff couldn’t do enough to help, fantastic beach club and pools, enjoyed the afternoon tea and the size of the property is a little hideaway heaven. Special thanks to Intan Diamond, a little star and a credit to the Hotel. Friendly, great service and really looked after us. Beautiful rooms and a great relaxing break in between flights as only 90 minutes from Singapore airport. A great decision to stop off. Kids club took care of our teenage boys and they had plenty to do.

Went for a double birthday celebration and we absolutely loved the resort. Everything was exceptional, from the grounds, to the spa and service. Special call-out for the food which was seriously amazing. We're planning to return just based on the food alone.

We drove up from Singapore for a quick 2-night weekend escape. No issue with the border crossings at Tuas, about 2 hours total drive to get to the resort on a Friday early afternoon. Villas are wonderfully spacious, breezy and well equipped. The beach is kept immaculate and cleaned daily in the early morning. Breakfast was a highlight, better than any 5-star hotel in Singapore. Nice selection of curated speciality buffet items rather than the boring standard fare, complemented by exciting complimentary a la carte options. Service was wonderfully friendly and competent. The only let down was the 5-minute soft boiled egg I ordered, which arrived totally hard-boiled.

We really liked this place. Beautiful setting, calm sea, lovely and serene pool, fantastic & high end spacious rooms, attentive staff who you can what’s app with requests. Food was top notch. It was very quiet too- we had the pool basically to ourselves a lot of the time. My only complaint was that the music at the beach club (the second pool) was too loud!

We visited with our 3yr old for 3 nights and had a truly wonderful time. The Dior event whilst interesting, wad on balance probably something I would actively avoid in future; because the limited menu made repeat visits during the stay less appealing. That said service was still really good considering the volume of people there. Food and service at the hotel was wonderful as always and we tendered to stay more at the hotel on this trip. Which was still great as there is so much space. The restaurant staff always go out of their way to look after you, even at the pool. One thing that did occur to me on this trip was that some sun loungers at the kids pool would be a welcome addition as whilst there are plenty at the main pool, it feels a bit far from a safety perspective. The resort is amazingly beautiful. Brand new, big and peaceful. However, it must have a very negligent GM as the headcount is HUGE yet they are totally disorganized. A private event has totally ruined the Amber beach setup, the atmosphere/ decorations look utterly cheap and the lunch menu has bevome poor. The staff in the main restaurant is very nice, well trained and kind. This resort has a lot of potential but in this price category they need a super talented GM with a vibrant managing style.

My wife and I originally went to the Resort for a 10 night stay whilst on our honeymoon. We ended up leaving 3 nights ahead of our initial departure date. Please read further as it’s not all doom and gloom! Now, there are a lot of positive as well as negatives with this resort. The facilities they have are very nice and well maintained (that said the hotel is brand new…). The staff are extremely kind / smiley and do try to make your stay as lovely as possible. That said, being a new hotel it clearly is lacking on it’s organisational side as well as staff training. Especially when it comes to managing a lot of guests at once. We had to call waiters over regularly for drinks at their beach club restaurant, chase after basic service and send a few messages on their wattsapp chat to chase after extra towels, wrong food orders etc etc. All points that can be hashed out with some staff training. During our stay the beach club area was closed for the first 4 days of our time there. Partially due to a private event as well as a burst water pipe (not the hotel’s fault). There were a lot of children running around and there is no clear divide with adult areas vs family areas. Something that is usually put in place at 5 star luxury resorts… We have no issue with children, that said if they’re running around, splashing you on your sunbed and shouting when you’re wanting to read a book. It can get a bit annoying over the course of a few days… All that said, the food is absolutely DIVINE. I have been to many hotels in my life and this one does rank very high up there on my culinary chart. Executive chef Valerio and head chef Bianca are extremely talented and passionate. They made a great effort to speak to us most evenings and talk us through their menus and dishes. Top marks for them and the restaurant experience. Operations manager Danial is also a hard working young man who was aware of the issues that were bugging us and tried his best to redress them. However the head manager of the hotel (who’s name I do not know…) never presented himself to us. Which in light of the issues we had and raised… I would have expected them to have come to me to discuss it further and find a solution. In the end we decided to leave 3 nights early and the hotel refunded us our remaining nights. Which is fair on their behalf. If I could put 3.5 stars I would. The hotel did fall short on the service side and being on honeymoon we did not wish to stay on longer. I do feel that in 1-2 years, the hotel will be a top location. Once they have organised themselves a bit better with their customer service and certain staff training elements.…

Was at O&O over the long weekend and was extremely disappointed with their service. We traveled as a family of 5 with young children and 4 other families and were looking forward to a great stay at O&O. However, it went off with a bad start on Friday (1st day) with my family having to wait 2.5 hours for check in and another 2 families waiting for 3 hours. One of our friends had to wait at our villa because their villa was not ready at 530pm, even though the official check in was at 3pm. All of us are traveling with young children. We gave feedback on the spot but despite all our feedback, the answers were “My sincere apologies, we will feedback to the higher management and will get the higher management to talk to you tomorrow.” Unfortunately, no one came and spoke to us at all. At check in (530pm), I also requested for set up of the sofa bed with extra blanket and pillows. They never came until 11pm! That was after I had to message and call the concierge 3 times and my young kids had to wait for the sofa bed to be done up before they can sleep. In addition, I made an advanced lunch reservation for 20 pax one week before arrival at Ember for Saturday, but was told a water pipe burst so the lunch may be cancelled. I reminded the staff to inform us if it is still unavailable by Friday evening, let us know early so we can make other plans. I received a WhatsApp message at 7.24pm on Friday evening saying the Ember reservations is confirmed. However on Saturday at 1019am, I received another message saying the reservation is now cancelled because they are still fixing the pipes. In this case, why would they even confirm that our reservation is good to go the evening before? The second day was disappointing as well because the drinking water I have requested took 4 hrs to arrive! For a luxury hotel who prides itself as award winning, and under the Kerzner brand where they manage many luxury and exclusive hotels around the world, and where their motto is “We believe in making our guests happy beyond their wildest imagination ”, this is an absolute disappointment. The only savings grace perhaps was the attentive and friendly staff and the food at Dusky Monkey and Ambara. The breakfast and high tea selection was really good.…

While making my bookings into the O&O, I encountered an unpleasant experience. It put me off to the point that I had the negative experience posted in the TRIP ADVISOR. I then received a call from O&O in Singapore and explained the entire situation. Polly was apologetic and did explain the reservation individual was new. I decided to proceed with O&O. We are a family of 4 with teens and celebrated my birthday. We arrived and met someone who recognised us. Daniel was very welcoming and settle us quickly. Our butler was Satchi and showed us the grounds. The fitness centre is amazingly well equipped. We had meals mainly at Ambara. The team there requires special mention. The Italian chef together with Yoga and other service members that I may not know the names were exceptional. They new our names and food was cooked very well. We are glad that the restaurant has a mix of local and western. The fish curry was excellent. And the chef even dared to put DURIAN on the menu. It was a light durian cheese cake. Wow... Impressive. We had dinner at HOSHI and it was a good experience. The teams were very attentive. Club One also deserves mention as it is not only for small kids. There were enough to do with teens. The only comment is the rooms have limited space for us to lounge around. It is spacious however the area where it is air conditioned is limited. Typically between 11 - 4pm, it is too hot to sit outside. The room with 2 single beds actually should come with 2 double beds. O&O is too luxurious to only have 2 single beds. That is what most other Lux facilities will have. Will we come back? YES? However only for 2 nights as there is not enough sitting other than the bed. We viewed the Grand deluxe but I feel that it is not decorated or designed well enough. It seems that it is just 2 rooms combined into one. Thank you TEAM O&O and good luck. It is a nice facility.
