We stayed at this magnificent place for five nights and were sorry to leave. This B&B is tucked into a hillside overlooking Washoe Lake. The ranch is run by charming David and Muffy. Muffy prepares breakfasts that are out of this world. The room was beautiful and cozy. The garden and pond were relaxing and very pretty. David and Muffy...

This what B&B hospitality is all about. Like visiting family you feel immediately at home and are left to explore this great property. Very interesting couple who love their environment and in the morning a hearty breakfast to see you on your way.

Wow! What an experience! My husband and I stayed at Deer Run Ranch with his brother and wife for two nights. Found it online and were hoping that the reviews were all true to life. Our stay was way beyond what we expected. Muffy and David are terrific hosts, made us feel welcome and totally comfortable from the first phone...

My wife and I stayed here during a weekend trip to Carson City, Virginia City, and Lake Tahoe. Deer Run Ranch Bed and Breakfast is in a quiet, remote location east of Lake Washoe, and not far from Carson City and Virginia City. The view from the ranch is incredible - farm fields, Lake Washoe, and snow-capped mountains. The hosts,...

We stopped here on our way to Zion Park, staying for one night, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. So much so, in fact, that on our return home, we drove 11 hours (usually manage maybe 6) in one day so we could stay two nights. The house is comfortable, good bed, really nice shower, a variety of artwork, great location with...

We only stayed for one night we wish it could have been longer - Deer Run Ranch must rate as the perfect B&B. From the time that we were greated, to the facilities, privacy and then the breakfast, we could not have asked for more. The B&B is set in an ideal location for views, quietness plus the native birds....

Take a deep breath of the crisp Eastern Sierra air or the aroma of a fresh baked orange glazed egg casserole. Enjoy the genuine warmth of your hosts, who draw you into their creative lives and their restful home but are highliy respectful of your need for solitude. This is one of our richest B&B experiences, undertaken to get away...

We (2 couples) stayed for 2 nights at the Deer Run Ranch. David & Muffy were the perfect hosts, breakfast each day was fantasic and made from produce grown in their own organic garden. The lounge area was great to just lay around and read or if you wish to sit outside and take in nature then there is an...

Our Hosts were Superb. If you want to feel spoiled then this is the place to stay. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful, and secluded. The food is absolutely delicious and elegantly presented. The dishes are stoneware that were made by our host and added a personal touch to the table. Fresh coffee in the morning on the patio and breakfast...

This place was simply heaven on earth. We stay here for several days while attending a conference in Reno. What can I say, other than this place is the nicest place we've ever stayed. The breakfasts were delicious and home-made, the bed was unbelievably soft and comfy, and David and Muffy (the owners) were the most gracious hosts ever that...

“Both rooms face the west, and are decorated in artistic native American themes. From your window you can see the hawks nest in the tree and the deer coming to graze in the alfalfa fields.”
