The border house is a historic house listed in the National registry. Beautifully furnished ,very intimate and private. Private patio downstairs, room with kurig coffee makers, fireplace, Wi-Fi, music and lovely bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi bathtub. The steakhouse restaurant attached to the casino is great.fabulous food, atmosphere. And across the street is a delightful small restaurant that is in...

Thank you for your great review! It is great that you not only were able to enjoy your stay in the Border House, but also took advantage of the Steak and Lobster House in the casino! We hope you get a chance to visit us again!

I stayed here last month and loved this hotel so much that I created a Trip Advisor account just to write a review. This hotel is a small hotel (I think they have 7 or 8 rooms only). It's really just an old house (renovated, of course) divided into rooms. The reservation process was great, I spoke with Stephanie and...

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Thank you so much for your kind words! I appreciate you taking the time to let us know that you enjoyed your stay with us. I agree that #6 is a fantastic room and many of our guests will specifically request it for their stay. I have also passed your positive notes about our staff along...

Legit. Super cute & updated. Odd location (next to two dive casinos on the main drag at the Cal/Nevada border.) **First Biggest bummer: NO DOOR SEPARATING BATHROOM SUITE FROM ROOM. Only a fabric decor-curtain. Bathroom is very large but toilet is close to the entrance/curtain. Second biggest: You have to check in via the smoky cheesy casino next door. Then...

Our family was looking for a place to stay that was somewhat near Sand Harbor Cove Beach. Border house was great! It is a small boutique hotel that was good for a short stay with family but it looked like it would be an great place for a couples getaway. Rooms were furnished with antique looking pieces, beds comfy, linens...

We stayed in Junior suite #4, was a little confused about finding it. But once we did it was a nice room, a little balcony over looking the back road which was nice. I still can not understand the fact there was no bathroom door, this room did not even have a curtain separating the room from the bathroom. Just...

Our stay at the Border House was interesting. We try to go for off beat places, and this cozy spot fit the bill. The beds were comfortable, my husband loved the pillows, the fireplace was nice and the cost was very reasonable. What really struck us as strange though, was there was no bathroom (toilet) door. There was a curtain...

I discovered the Border House three years ago and decided to finally share this special place. My husband and I have stayed in every room of this boutique hotel. Suite #11 for the 60" flat screen, heated bathroom floors, steam room shower, king bed, fireplace and the space is our favorite room. Suite #6 is our second favorite for the...

Spent 3 nights at Border House in early December. The check-in process was extremely confusing! We arrive at 5 p.m, only to find the parking lot completely empty and the hotel's front door locked. Called reservations, told us to head to the casino right next door, and checked in there. Turns out the keys they gave us were both for...

Me and my friend where very surprised at how awesome the room was, I had booked it a few months in advance. Very clean, modern did NOT smell like smoke. The bathroom was very modern...

We are in room 11, third floor to ourself. A beautiful boutique like hotel.... A few quirks, but worth the price for sure! You check in at the players desk at the casino, it's an old Nevada casino so it's very smoky! (You only endure it a few minutes so not a big deal) the rooms are beautiful, and incredibly...
