Reviewing the El Cort is a bit tricky, because we need to start from the acknowledgement that it's identity has long been as a bargain stop...we are never comparing to the Bellaggio. .Additionally, be aware that there is NO PHONY RESORT FEE tacked on...sadly, now unique in LAS. I booked their lowest rate on Hotels.com, a Vintage room for $21.00...

I was looking forward to my stay at old world charm but cant say thats what it really was. Hotel definitely dated. I would probably not do this hotel again as I found no perks. I think you may be better off with one within fremont experience versus around the corner from the fremont experience. all hotel pretty close to...

Stayed here for my Birthday this month. I had emailed them why we were coming and they gave us an upgrade which was very nice. The room was lovely, large and had all the needed amenities. They only thing I would have liked would be a warmer blanket. Husband likes it cooler so I froze and kept forgetting to ask...

Been to Vegas few times but its my first time staying at El Cortez November 21-24, 2013.. I was attending a Fitness Event and needed a nice price :-) and El Cortez offered that. (I think my room was 409) not 100% sure. However, upon arrival my check-in process was expeditious but the room they sent me had me feeling...

We've been to Vegas many times and we were Fitzgerald's loyals until it became The D and lost some of its old Vegas charm. After our last trip, we will likely be El Cortez loyals. We reserved a Pavillion room but they were sold out by the time we arrived so we were automatically upgraded to a Cabana room. The...

Did not stay in the hotel, only visited the casino and had a wonderful time. The casino is quiet with dark wood paneling, subdued lighting, nad lots of video poker machines. The machines varied from 1c to 5$ machines, and there was a large seperate area with coin in-coin out machines- nice to see that again. The variety and type...

I stayed at the EC H&C after everyone else left Vegas. For the money I paid ($35 on a Sat night) it was a good stay. I got room 310 and didn't experience the problems of other reviewers. The room was roomy, it had a large bathroom, a triceps dip-bar over the toilet, a sitting area and a good-sized flat-screen...

Stayed here for two out of three nights for the NYE celebration near the Fremont experience and on day three had to book a room at the Doubletree/Tropicana on the strip. Stayed on the fifth floor, I believe in room # 5508 and encountered neighbors were pretty hard core partyers because they slammed the doors at 4 am, spoke out...

Pavilion Room 5548 The noise was constant. Slamming doors, the fireballs from the preying mantis at the container park shook the bed and door frame. Once they shut down the fireballs at the container park the nightclubs started blaring music and the sirens from passing emergency vehicles sounded like they were right outside the door. The room was OK except...
